List Of All-Big Ten Hockey Teams
The All-Big Ten Teams are composed of players at all positions from teams that are members of the Big Ten Conference, an NCAA Division I conference. Each year, beginning in 2013–14, at the conclusion of the Big Ten regular season a media panel and the head coaches of each member team vote for players to be placed on the all-conference teams. The all-Big Ten teams are a successor to the All-CCHA Teams which were discontinued after the conference dissolved due to the 2013–14 NCAA conference realignment. Big Ten Conference
The Big Ten Conference (stylized B1G, formerly the Western Conference and the Big Nine Conference) is the oldest Division I collegiate athletic conference in the United States. Founded as the Intercollegiate Conference of Faculty Representatives in 1896, it predates the founding of its regulating organization, the NCAA. It is based in the Chicago area in Rosemont, Illinois. For many decades the conference consisted of 10 universities, and it has 14 members and 2 affiliate institutions. Ryan Michael Dzingel (born March 9, 1992) is an American professional ice hockey forward with the Chicago Wolves in the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League (NHL). He has previously played for the Ottawa Senators, Columbus Blue Jackets, Arizona Coyotes and San Jose Sharks. Penn State Nittany Lions Men's Ice Hockey
Penn State Nittany Lions men's ice hockey, formerly known as the Penn State Icers (the name for the former ACHA team), is a college ice hockey program that represents the Pennsylvania State University. Prior to the 2012–13 season the program was designated a club sport and competed at the ACHA Division I level. PSU was previously a member of the Eastern States Collegiate Hockey League (ESCHL, although the team competed as an independent ACHA D-I member for the 2011–12 season before moving to the NCAA D-I level. Casey Bailey
Casey Bailey (born October 27, 1991) is an American professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing with ERC Ingolstadt in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). Bailey played college hockey with the Penn State Nittany Lions and is the first Penn State player to play in the NHL. Bailey played 13 games in the NHL for the Toronto Maple Leafs, whom he signed with out of college, and the Ottawa Senators. Dylan Larkin
Dylan Larkin (born July 30, 1996) is an American professional ice hockey player and captain of the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League (NHL). Larkin was drafted 15th overall by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. Prior to turning professional, Larkin played collegiate hockey for the University of Michigan where he was named the Freshman of the Year. Zach Hyman
Zachary Martin Hyman (born June 9, 1992) is a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger and author, currently playing for the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League (NHL). He previously played for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Hockey Canada named him the 2011 Canadian Junior Hockey League Player of the Year. In 2013, Hyman represented Canada at the 2013 Maccabiah Games in Israel, where he won a gold medal. Zachary Werenski (born July 19, 1997) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman and alternate captain for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL). Michigan State Spartans Men's Ice Hockey
The Michigan State Spartans men's ice hockey team is the college ice hockey team that represents Michigan State University (MSU). The team plays at the Munn Ice Arena in East Lansing, Michigan, on the MSU campus. The current head coach is Adam Nightingale, who took over coaching duties on May 3, 2022, after Danton Cole was fired. Michigan State currently competes in the Big Ten Conference. Jake Hildebrand (born June 19, 1993) is an American ice hockey goaltender who is currently playing for the Löwen Frankfurt of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). Mark Zengerle (born May 12, 1989) is an American professional ice hockey center currently playing for the Straubing Tigers of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). Playing career Junior Zengerle played for the Salmon Arm Silverbacks of the BCHL from 2008 to 2010. During the 2008–09 season, Zengerle recorded 31 goals and 62 assists in 54 games.
