The 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games football tournament is scheduled to be the 20th edition of the competition at the 21st edition of the Central American and Caribbean Games. It will be the first CAC Games football competition to take since 2006 due to the cancellation of the 2010 edition. Although the competition is considered to be an under-21 age group competition, up to three players born before 1 January 1993 may be named in the squad. Each participating national football association will select a final squad of 20 players. The women's tournament was won by Mexico over Colombia. The men's tournament was won by Mexico as well, over Venezuela. This is the 6th gold medal in this competition for the Mexican side. Cibao Fútbol Club is a Dominican professional football team based in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, founded in 2015. The team plays in the Liga Dominicana de Fútbol. History Cibao Futbol Club was founded on January 1, 2015, ahead of the inaugural season of the Liga Dominicana de Fútbol. The club built a new stadium, Estadio Cibao FC, that opened on March 8, 2015. Cibao FC partnered with the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra and the ARMID Foundation to build the stadium and form a development academy. The 2012 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament was an association football competition used to determine the two participants who would compete at the 2012 Summer Olympics. It was held at BC Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, from January 19–29, 2012. Qualification Thirteen teams, eight from the Caribbean and five from Central America, competed to join automatic qualifiers Canada, Mexico and the United States in the eight-team final tournament.
