Antony Garrett Lisi (born January 24, 1968), known as Garrett Lisi, is an American theoretical physicist. Lisi works as an independent researcher without an academic position. Lisi is known for " An Exceptionally Simple Theory of Everything," a paper proposing a unified field theory based on the E Lie group, combining particle physics with Einstein's theory of gravitation. The theory is incomplete and has unresolved problems. The theory has been extensively criticized in the scientific community. He is best known for his collections with high street store Debenhams, and as a mentor and judge on the television series ''Project Catwalk''. Early life De Lisi was born in New York and grew up in Long Island. He moved in with his grandmother when studying sculpture at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. He became interested in fashion when his grandmother taught him how to sew and recreate a pair of trousers he could not afford to buy. Riccardo Galeazzi-Lisi (26 July 1891 – 29 November 1968) was an Italian medical doctor who served as Pope Pius XII's personal physician from 1939 until his dismissal in 1958. During his service in the Vatican he was officially titled " Archiatra Pontificio". The pope also made him an honorary member of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences. He was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 13th round of the 1974 amateur draft, and played for the Rangers in 1981. The 25-year-old rookie stood 6'0" and weighed 175 lbs.
