Lisa Webb
Lisa Webb (; born 27 April 1984) is a former Australian rules footballer and current senior coach of the Fremantle Football Club in the AFL Women's (AFLW). Early life Webb placed second at the 2002–03 Australian Track & Field Championships competing in the heptathlon. Playing career Webb was drafted by Fremantle with their first selection and the second selection overall in the 2017 AFL Women's rookie draft. She made her debut and was named one of Fremantle's best players in the thirteen point win over at Optus Stadium in round 2 of the 2018 season. She played six games in 2018. She retired from playing at the end of the 2018 season. Coaching career In 2019, Webb was appointed as the opposition and strategy coach for the Fremantle AFLW team. West Australian Women's Football League
The West Australian Women's Football League (WAWFL) was the governing body of women's Australian rules football in the state of Western Australia from 1987 until its dissolution in 2021. It organised the premier women's football league in Western Australia from 1987 to 2018, which was superseded in 2019 by the WAFLW league, a joint initiative of the WAWFL and the West Australian Football Commission. History The WAWFL football league was formed in 1987. The first season of competition was played in 1988 between four clubs, with a team from Mount Lawley winning the inaugural premiership. The Hallyburton Johnstone Shield is the premier domestic women's one-day cricket competition in New Zealand. The tournament began in 1935–36, as a first-class competition, but is now played as a 50-over competition, with six provincial teams taking part: Auckland, Canterbury, Central Districts, Northern Districts, Otago and Wellington. Fremantle Football Club (AFLW) Players
The Fremantle Football Club, nicknamed the Dockers, is a professional Australian rules football club competing in the Australian Football League (AFL), the sport's elite competition. Perth is the capital and largest city of the Australian state of Western Australia. Marc Webb (footballer)
Marc Webb (born 23 February 1979) is an Australian rules football coach in the West Australian Football League (WAFL). He played in the Victorian Football League (VFL) for Port Melbourne and in the WAFL for Perth and Subiaco. He served as an assistant coach at the Western Bulldogs after previously being a premiership winning senior coach for Claremont and serving as an assistant coach for Fremantle. He's the husband of Fremantle AFL Women's player Lisa Webb. Playing career Webb played six matches for Port Melbourne in the VFL during the 2000 season. He moved to Western Australia to play for Perth. After playing 20 matches for the Demons, he transferred to Subiaco during the 2002 WAFL season. 2017 AFL Women's Draft
The 2017 AFL Women's draft consisted of the various periods when the eight clubs in the AFL Women's competition could recruit players prior to the competition's 2018 season. As the previous season's player contracts were all capped at one-year deals, all existing AFLW players must be re-signed prior to the 2018 season. Western Bulldogs
The Western Bulldogs are a professional Australian rules football team that competes in the Australian Football League (AFL), the sport's premier competition. Founded in 1877 as the Footscray Football Club, and based in West Footscray in the old City of Footscray west of Melbourne, the club won nine premierships in the Victorian Football Association (VFA) before gaining admission to the Victorian Football League (which became the AFL in 1990) in 1925.
