Lisa Carlton
Lisa Carlton is a Republican politician from Florida. She served in the Florida Senate from 1998 to 2008, representing parts of Southwest Florida based around Sarasota. She served as the President Pro Tempore of the Florida Senate from 2006 to 2008. Carlton previously served two terms in the Florida House of Representatives, representing parts of Sarasota County from 1994 to 1998. Carlton currently serves as a guest lecturer at the Lou Frey Institute of Politics and Government at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. Florida Senate
The Florida Senate is the upper house of the Florida Legislature, the state legislature of the U.S. state of Florida, the Florida House of Representatives being the lower house. Article III, Section 1 of the Constitution of Florida, adopted in 1968, defines the role of the Legislature and how it is to be constituted. The Senate is composed of 40 members, each elected from a single-member district with a population of approximately 540,000 residents. The University of Central Florida (UCF) is a public research university whose main campus is in unincorporated Orange County, Florida. Tom Lee (born January 21, 1962) is an American Republican politician from Florida. He represented parts of the Tampa area in the Florida Senate from 1996 to 2006, and again from 2012 to 2020.
