Linnea Johansson (golfer)
Linnea Johansson (born 25 August 1993) is a Swedish professional golfer and member of the LPGA Tour. Amateur career Johansson was born in Växjö and grew up in Älmhult. She started playing golf at age 10 at Grönhögen Golf Links, Öland. She attended Rikdsidrottsgymnasiet in Ljungbyhed between 2009 and 2012, and represents Båstad Golf Club. She became a member of the Swedish National Team in 2010. She represented Sweden at the European Ladies' Team Championship four times, and won the bronze at the 2017 event in Portugal together with Linnea Ström, Michaela Finn, Elin Esborn, My Leander and Filippa Möörk, her last tournament as an amateur. Johansson was the individual winner at the initial stroke-play competition. Johansson played college golf in the United States between 2012 and 2017. The season began at the Four Season Golf Club in Lake Buena Vista, Florida on January 16 and ended on December 20 at the Tiburón Golf Club in Naples, Florida. Linda Maria Wessberg (born 13 June 1980) is a Swedish professional golfer who has played on the LPGA Tour and on the Ladies European Tour, where she has three victories. She represented Europe at the 2007 Solheim Cup. Early life and amateur career Wessberg was born in Gothenburg and as a junior was attached to Delsjö Golf Club, to later join Hills Golf Club. In 2001 she won the Swedish Junior Matchplay Championship, and was part of the winning Swedish National team at the 2001 European Ladies' Team Championship in Galicia, Spain. Karin Sjödin (born 8 August 1983) is a Swedish professional golfer. She played 10 seasons on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour and was in contention at the 2012 Kraft Nabisco Championship. Amateur career Sjödin was born in Gothenburg, Sweden and learned golf at Delsjö Golf Club close to the city. Caroline Ingrid Hedwall (born 13 May 1989) is a Swedish professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour (LET) and the LPGA Tour. Maria Bodén (born 3 January 1978) is a Swedish professional golfer who played on the Ladies European Tour between 2002 and 2010.
