Fuzhou Metro Lines
Fuzhou is the capital of Fujian, China. The city lies between the Min River (Fujian), Min River estuary to the south and the city of Ningde to the north. Together, Fuzhou and Ningde make up the Eastern Min, Mindong linguistic and cultural region. Fuzhou's population was 8,291,268 as of the 2020 Chinese census. Dongmen () is a metro station in Taipei, Taiwan served by the Taipei Metro. It is an interchange station with the Tamsui–Xinyi line and the Zhonghe–Xinlu line, which opened on 24 November 2013. The station opened on 30 September 2012 with the opening of the Zhongxiao Xinsheng to Guting segment of the Zhonghe–Xinlu line. Ximen (, formerly transliterated as Hsimen Station until 2003) is a metro station in Taipei, Taiwan served by Taipei Metro. The station is named after the former west gate of the city, whose location is roughly where the current station is located. Fuzhou Metro
The Fuzhou Metro () is a rapid transit system in Fuzhou Metropolitan Area, Fujian Province, China. The first line was planned to open in 2014. Due to the construction difficulties and accidental archaeologic finding, the southern section () was delayed to 2016 and the northern section () was delayed to 2017. Currently, the Fuzhou Metro Network consists of five lines. They are operated by Fuzhou Metro Group (Lines 1, 4, 5, 6), and Fuzhou CETC Rail Transit Company (Line 2), respectively. Fuzhou Metro was approved for construction on 3 June 2009. Trial service closed to the public began on 30 December 2015 and lasted for three months. An island platform (also center platform (American English) or centre platform (British English)) is a station layout arrangement where a single platform is positioned between two tracks within a railway station, tram stop or transitway interchange. Island platforms are sometimes used between the opposite-direction tracks on twin-track route stations as they are cheaper and occupy less area than other arrangements. They are also useful within larger stations, where local and express services for the same direction of travel can be accessed from opposite sides of the same platform instead of side platforms on either side of the tracks, simplifying and speeding transfers between the two tracks.
