Line 14 (CPTM)
Line 14 (Onyx) ( pt, Linha 14–Ônix), formerly called the Airport Express, is a planned line of the Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos commuter rail system in São Paulo, Brazil which would originally connect the São Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport to Brás Station. The line was planned to have an average interval of six minutes between each station. Rodovia Ayrton Senna
Rodovia Ayrton Senna da Silva (officially designated SP-070 and formerly named Rodovia dos Trabalhadores) (Workers' Highway), is a highway in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The highway begins in the Eastern region of city of São Paulo and ends at the county of Guararema, merging with Rodovia Presidente Dutra. The cities served by Rodovia Ayrton Senna are Guarulhos, Itaquaquecetuba, Mogi das Cruzes, Suzano, Poá and Guararema. Side Platform
A side platform (also known as a marginal platform or a single-face platform) is a platform positioned to the side of one or more railway tracks or guideways at a railway station, tram stop, or transitway. A station having dual side platforms, one for each direction of travel, is the basic design used for double-track railway lines (as opposed to, for instance, the island platform where a single platform lies between the tracks). Side platforms may result in a wider overall footprint for the station compared with an island platform where a single width of platform can be shared by riders using either track. Island Platform
An island platform (also center platform, centre platform) is a station layout arrangement where a single platform is positioned between two tracks within a railway station, tram stop or transitway interchange. Island platforms are popular on twin-track routes due to pragmatic and cost reasons. They are also useful within larger stations where local and express services for the same direction of travel can be provided from opposite sides of the same platform thereby simplifying transfers between the two tracks. An alternative arrangement is to position side platforms on either side of the tracks. The historical use of island platforms depends greatly upon the location. Luz Station
The Luz Station ( pt, Estação da Luz, ) is a railway station in the Luz neighbourhood in São Paulo, Brazil. The station is part of the metropolitan rail system run by the CPTM. The station houses the Museum of the Portuguese Language, established in 2006. The Luz Metro station is also located within the complex. History The station was built in the late 19th century with the purpose of being the headquarters of the newly founded São Paulo Railway. Line 13 (CPTM)
Line 13 (Jade) ( pt, Linha 13–Jade), also known as the Guarulhos Train, is one of the seven lines operated by CPTM and one of the thirteen lines that make up the São Paulo Metro Rail Transport Network. The route is long with a total of 3 stations. It connects the Engenheiro Goulart Station in São Paulo to the Guarulhos Airport Station, in the city of Guarulhos. Opened on March 31, 2018, it was the first line completely built and operated by CPTM. That makes São Paulo's Guarulhos Airport the first major international airport in South America to be directly served by train. Rio–São Paulo High-speed Rail
The Rio–São Paulo High-Speed Rail (; Abbreviation: ''TAV RJ-SP'') is a planned high-speed rail project to connect São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Geraldo José Rodrigues Alckmin Filho (; born 7 November 1952) is a Brazilian politician who is the vice president-elect of Brazil.
