Ferraz de Vasconcelos is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. It is part of the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo. The population is 196,500 (2020 est.) in an area of 29.56 km². José Bonifácio is a train station on CPTM Line 11-Coral, located in the district of José Bonifácio, East Side of São Paulo. Dom Bosco is a train station on CPTM Line 11–Coral, located in the city of São Paulo. It was named for its proximity to the acting area of Dom Bosco Social Work. History In mid-1987, São Paulo Metro hired a study for the expansion of East-West Line from Itaquera to Guaianazes. The study did not recommend the extension of the line due to the risk of collapse caused by overcrowding, but Quércia administration started the construction of the branch (called East Extension) in November1987. A side platform (also known as a marginal platform or a single-face platform) is a platform positioned to the side of one or more railway tracks or guideways at a railway station, tram stop, or transitway. History The first station at this location was opened on February 16, 1867, under the name 'Braz' by the São Paulo Railway (SPR).
