Lindy Thackston
Lindy Thackston Hogue is an American reporter and anchor. She has worked as a trackside and pit lane reporter for Versus coverage of the IndyCar Series, as well as college football, and has worked for various television stations over the course of her career. Since October 2016, Thackston has co-anchored the morning newscast on Fox affiliate WXIN with Scott Jones. Biography Thackston is from Frankfort, Indiana. She has one brother. Thackston attended Frankfort High School until she moved to Frankfort Christian Heritage School after completing her sophomore year. She graduated in 1999. Thackston graduated from Purdue University with a degree in broadcast journalism in 2002. Frankfort, Indiana
Frankfort is a city in Clinton County, Indiana, United States. The population was 16,422 at the 2010 census. The city is the county seat of Clinton County. History Brothers John, William and Nicholas Pence, previously of Warren County, Ohio, settled on the land on which Frankfort now stands in 1829, having entered it from the government in 1827 and 1828. In 1830, the brothers donated of the land to the county commissioners, a donation which led to the establishment of the county seat at that site rather than in Jefferson, a community which had also been vying for the honor. The new town was named Frankfort at the brothers' request and honors their German great-grandparents' home of Frankfurt am Main. The town of Frankfort was laid off on the tract by William Douglass, the county agent, and the plat filed on June 8, 1830. 2011 IndyCar Series
The 2011 IZOD IndyCar Series was the 16th season of the IndyCar Series and the 100th recognized season of American open-wheel motor racing. The season was sanctioned by IndyCar and was part of the Mazda Road to Indy. The season began in March and concluded in October, consisting of seventeen events. It was the final season running the IR–05 Dallara spec cars, which had been the series' sole chassis supplier since 2007. It was also the final season running the ''Honda Indy V8'' naturally-aspirated engines, which had been the series' sole engine supplier since 2006. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is an automobile racing circuit located in Speedway, Indiana, an enclave suburb of Indianapolis, Indiana.
