Lindsay Titheridge
Lindsay Nicole Warkentin (born Titheridge, November 8, 1982 in Winnipeg, Manitoba) is a Canadian curler. She previously played lead for the Chelsea Carey team. Career As a junior curler, Warkentin represented Manitoba at the 1999 Canada Winter Games, and she won the Manitoba junior championship in 2001, playing second for Allison Nimik (Flaxey). Chelsea Carey
Chelsea Danielle Carey (born September 12, 1984 in Winnipeg, Manitoba) is a Canadian curler from Calgary, Alberta. She is the 2016 and 2019 Canadian and Alberta women's champion skip and 2014 Manitoba provincial women's champion skip. Career Earlier career Carey curled in six provincial junior championships, but did not win the event. She did win the 2000 Juvenile Provincial championship which she followed up with a silver medal at the 2001 Canadian Juvenile championship. She was also the Manitoba high school provincial champion in 2002. Carey has won a number of World Curling Tour (WCT) events including the 2005 Manitoba Lotteries Wheat City Curling Classic, the 2006 Interlake Pharmacy Classic (playing third for Barb Spencer in both events), and the Interlake Pharmacy Classic again in 2009, culminating with winning the 2009 Manitoba Curling Tour Championship. Grace Hospital (Winnipeg)
Grace Hospital is a regional hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The 250-bed hospital is located in the Crestview neighbourhood of St. James-Assiniboia. The hospital was founded on Ross Avenue in 1890 by the Salvation Army, as a rescue home for women and children. It was incorporated in 1904 as ''The Salvation Army Grace General Hospital'', and was the first Salvation Army hospital to be incorporated in Canada. The hospital was not truly a general hospital until 1927, when it was expanded from a maternity hospital. The hospital was located on Ross Avenue until 1906 when a new building was erected at Preston Avenue and Arlington Street. The Arlington street location would be expanded and upgraded many times. 2013 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials
The 2013 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials (branded as the 2013 Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings for sponsorship reasons) were held from December 1 to 8 at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The winners of the men's and women's events were chosen to represent Canada at the 2014 Winter Olympics. Qualification process The qualification process for the 2013 Olympic trials differed slightly from the process used at the 2009 Trials. For both the men's and women's events, a pool of 18 teams were designated as eligible to represent Canada at the 2014 Winter Olympics, based on rankings from the Canadian Team Ranking System (CTRS). From the pool of 18, six teams were selected to qualify directly to the Trials. The 2012 Capital One Canada Cup of Curling was held from November 28 to December 2 at Mosaic Place in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. This was Moose Jaw's first time hosting the Canada Cup, and Saskatchewan's second time hosting the Canada Cup, which was held in Yorkton in 2009. TSN broadcast the tenth edition of the Canada Cup. 2011 Canada Cup Of Curling
The 2011 Capital One Canada Cup of Curling was held from November 30 to December 4 at the Cranbrook Recreational Complex in Cranbrook, British Columbia. The format for this year's competition was changed from the previous year. Instead of 10 men's and 10 women's teams in two pools of five each, there were seven teams of each gender competing in a round robin. The first place teams advanced to their respective finals, while the second and third place teams met in the semifinals. The Canada Cup (branded as the Home Hardware Canada Cup for sponsorship reasons, and also referred to as the Canada Cup of Curling) is a major men's and women's curling championship in Canada. It is organized by Curling Canada and is one of its major events on its "Season of Champions". Darcy Robertson
Darcy Robertson (born Darcy Kirkness, March 13, 1965) is a Canadian curler. She is a three-time provincial champion and former Canadian junior champion. Career Robertson had a successful junior career which involved winning the 1984 Canadian Junior Curling Championships with her younger sister Barb, Janet Harvey and Barbara Fetch. Two years later, Robertson, her sister Barb, Fetch and Faye Irwin would win the provincial women's championship and would be given the right to represent Manitoba at the 1986 Scott Tournament of Hearts. At the Hearts, the team went 6–5 in the round robin and missed the playoffs. Also in 1986, Robertson won the provincial mixed championship playing lead for Hal Tanasichuk. Robertson would not win another provincial championship until 2003, playing third for her sister, Barb. The team finished the round robin at the 2003 Scott Tournament of Hearts with a 4–7 record.
