Lindsay Eastwood
Lindsay Eastwood (born January 14, 1997) is a retired Canadian ice hockey defender, having played for the Toronto Six in the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) from 2020 to 2023. The Syracuse Orange all-time leader in goals scored among defenders, she scored the first goal in Six history. She was a member of the Six roster that won the 2023 Isobel Cup championship, representing the last championship team of the PHF. Playing career Born and raised in Kanata, Ontario, Eastwood began playing hockey at the age of six. She played junior hockey for the Nepean Wildcats in the Provincial Women's Hockey League (PWHL), serving as team captain and finishing as one of the top five all-time league scorers among defenceman. Rowing, sometimes called crew in the United States, is the sport of racing boats using oars. Sarah-Ève Coutu-Godbout (born June 16, 1997) is a Canadian ice hockey player, currently playing in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) with Frölunda HC. She won a silver medal with the Canadian under-18 national team at the 2016 IIHF U18 Women's World Championship. Playing career Coutu-Godbout attended Cégep Limoilou in Québec City for secondary school, where she studied administration and economics. Alyson Matteau (born December 17, 1997) is a Canadian-American ice hockey defender, currently playing with the Buffalo Beauts of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL). She is currently the second all-time leading scorer among University of Maine women's ice hockey defenders. Playing career From the age of 12 until she was 16, she played for the junior Québec provincial girls' hockey team. In high school, she played for Northwood School in Lake Placid, New York. Playing career In her youth, Jackson played for the Cumberland Blues of the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League. Kitchener Rangers
The Kitchener Rangers are a major junior ice hockey team based in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. They are members of the Midwest Division of the Western Conference of the Ontario Hockey League. The Rangers have won the J. Ross Robertson Cup as OHL champions in 1981, 1982, 2003 and 2008. They have appeared in six Memorial Cups (1981, 1982, 1984, 1990, 2003 and 2008), advancing to the final game of the tournament each of those six years. Isobel Cup
The Lady Isobel Gathorne-Hardy Cup, often shortened to Isobel Cup, is the championship trophy awarded annually to the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) playoff winner. It is named after Lady Isobel Gathorne-Hardy, one of the first known women to play the game and daughter of Lord Stanley (the namesake of the Stanley Cup, and former Governor-General of Canada). The front of the trophy is engraved with "The Lady Isobel Gathorne-Hardy Cup 1875–1963. This Cup, shall be awarded annually to the greatest professional women's hockey team in North America. Shiann Darkangelo (born November 28, 1993) is an American ice hockey player who currently plays with the Toronto Six of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). She has played at the international level with Team USA and won gold at the 2016 IIHF Women's World Championship with the team. Emma Woods (born December 18, 1995) is a Canadian ice hockey forward, currently playing in the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) with the Toronto Six. Playing career Growing up in Burford, Ontario, Woods played with the boys' Burford Coyotes until the bantam level, often the only girl on the team. 2020–21 NWHL Season
The 2020–21 NWHL season was the sixth season of the National Women's Hockey League in North America. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the season was held in a bubble in Lake Placid, New York, from January to February 2021, with all five teams returning from the previous season, along with the Toronto Six expansion team as the first Canada-based team to play in the league. The season was suspended again due to positive cases of COVID-19 within the bubble. On March 8, 2021, the league announced that the Isobel Cup playoffs would re-commence on March 26 and 27 at Warrior Ice Arena in Brighton, Massachusetts. Amanda Leveille (born June 10, 1994) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender for the Minnesota Whitecaps of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). She currently holds the PHF record for all-time wins, and has won the Isobel Cup twice. Career Early career As a youth player, Leveille played on AAA boys teams, being named best goaltender at the 2011 Canadian National U18 Championship.
