Ernest Lindner
Ernst Friedrich Lindner LL. D. (1 May 1897 – 4 November 1988) was an Austrian-born Canadian painter. He moved to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, in 1926, where became a self-taught commercial artist. He soon was recognized locally and then nationally and was active in several art organizations. He is known for his meticulous watercolors of natural woodlands depicting the cycle of decay and regeneration. Early years Ernst Friedrich Lindner was born on 1 May 1897 in Vienna, Austria. He was the thirteenth child of a German family. His father Karl Oswald Lindner (1844-1919) ran a business that made stylish canes and parasol handles, and employed almost 300 craftsmen. Christian Wolfgang Lindner (born 7 January 1979) is a German politician of the Free Democratic Party (FDP) serving as the Federal Minister of Finance since 8 December 2021. Lindner Traktorenwerk GmbH is an Austrian agricultural machinery manufacturer. Lindner is a family company based in Kundl, Austria that has produced tractors and transporters for mountain and grassland management and for forestry and municipal applications since 1948. The company was the first manufacturer of a four-wheel-drive tractor in Austria. History Hermann Lindner was born on 5 November 1905 in Neustift im Stubaital. He founded the company in 1946 initially to produce head_saw, gang saws, but in 1948 exhibited his first tractor, the S 14, at the Vienna Autumn Fair. Lindner constructed more tractor models with different engines and special equipment and in 1953, the company introduced the first Austrian tractor with four-wheel drive. Doris Lexley Margaret Lindner (8 July 1896 – 1979) was a British sculptor who specialised in creating figures of animals and birds. Biography Lindner was born at Llanyre in mid-Wales, and spent her childhood in Winchester. Her mother was Welsh and her father was English and the family had sufficient income to employ several servants. Lindner studied at the school of animal painting run by William Frank Calderon in London and then at Saint Martin's School of Art in central London before completing her studies at the British School in Rome. Lindner specialised in creating figures of birds and animals in stone, plaster, bronze and concrete and many were reproduced in porcelain by Royal Worcester. Dieter Lindner (born 11 June 1939 in Breslau) is a German former football player. Lindner played for Eintracht Frankfurt since his youth and remained at his home club the entire career. He appeared in 321 matches in the Oberliga and the new founded Bundesliga. In European fixtures he played 24 times. Eugen Lindner
Eugen Lindner (11 December 1858 in Leipzig – 12 November 1915 in Weimar) was a German composer, notably of opera. A friend of Richard Strauss and Gustav Mahler, he was an important figure in musical scene in Weimar before the First World War. Lindner's earlier career was spent in Leipzig, where his recently completed opera ''Ramiro'' was first staged in September 1886 at the Neues Stadttheater, with Mahler conducting in his own first season there. Lindner was a pupil of Edmund Abesser and Gustav Kogel for the piano; of Volck and Friedrich Stack in composition and of Franz Götze in singing and, at the age of twenty, became a chorus master in his home town. He quickly allied himself stylistically with Wagner and began to conduct Wagner's works.
