Linda J. Miller (born August 27, 1947) is the Iowa State Representative from the 94th District. A Republican, she has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2007. , Miller serves on several committees in the Iowa House - the Education and Labor committees. She also serves as the chair of the Human Resources committee and as a member of the Health and Human Services Appropriations Subcommittee, the Medical Assistance Projections and Assistance Council, the Governmental Public Health Advisory Council, and the Medical Assistance Advisory Council. Miller was first elected in 2006, defeating incumbent Republican Joe Hutter in the primary. Linda Lael Miller (born 1949 as Linda Lael), is a best-selling American author of more than 100 contemporary and historical romance novels. She has also written under the pen name Lael St. James. Personal life Linda Lael was born in 1949 in Washington. Her father was a town marshal, although he, along with her uncle Jake "Jiggs" Lael also competed on the rodeo circuit. A voracious reader, Linda began writing her own stories when she was 10. As a child, Linda often visited with an elderly neighbor and listened to stories of her neighbor's experiences meeting outlaw Jesse James and witnessing a gunfight involving the Dalton Brothers. Linda Mae Miller (née Gleason; born September 16, 1942) is an American film, stage, and television actress. The daughter of actor and comedian Jackie Gleason and the mother of actor Jason Patric, Miller began working professionally as a child, later appearing on Broadway theatre, Broadway in a production of ''Black Picture Show'' (1975), for which she was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Supporting Actress. Taylor Miller (born August 18, 1953) is an American soap opera actress. Acting She is best known for her role as Nina Cortlandt on ABC Daytime's '' All My Children'' (''AMC''), which she played from 1979 to 1984 and from 1986 to 1989. Miller returned in cameos in 1994, 1995, 1996, and 2010 (40th Anniversary Episode). Linda Jean Miller (born 1961) is an American civil engineer who works for Bechtel. She is currently director of the excavation works for the Sydney Metro project, having recently been in charge of Crossrail's Farringdon Station. Education Miller is from Arizona. She has a bachelor's degree in engineering from United States Military Academy in West Point, New York.
