Linda LeMura
Linda M. LeMura (born April 25, 1960) is an American scientist and academic who is the current and 14th President of Le Moyne College in Syracuse, N.Y., the youngest of the 27 Jesuit colleges and universities in the United States. She is the first female layperson to be named the president of a Jesuit institution of higher education in the world. Prior to being appointed president in 2014, LeMura served Le Moyne as the provost and vice president for academic affairs from 2007 to 2014 and dean of the College of Arts and Sciences from 2003 to 2007. Previously, she was professor, research scientist, and graduate program director of the Departments of Biology and Allied Health Sciences and Exercise Physiology at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. New York State Senate
The New York State Senate is the upper house of the New York State Legislature; the New York State Assembly is its lower house. Its members are elected to two-year terms; there are no term limits. There are 63 seats in the Senate. Partisan composition The New York State Senate was dominated by the Republican Party for much of the 20th century. Benjamin Walsh (born July 4, 1979) is an American politician currently serving as the 54th Mayor of Syracuse New York, United States. Walsh assumed office on January 1, 2018 as the first independent mayor of Syracuse and the second without major party support since Louis Will in 1913. The International Association of Jesuit Universities (IAJU) is an association of higher education institutions run by the Society of Jesus. It was founded in 2018, upon the approval of Rev. Fr.
