Lina Trivedi
Lina Trivedi (born June 11, 1973) is an American entrepreneur, author, educator and civil servant. Her most noted writing credit is for authoring the first 136 poems of Beanie Babies. She is also credited for directing the world's first business to consumer Web site, which she did for Ty Inc., manufacturer of Beanie Babies. She is referred to as the woman who gave birth to the Internet and invented E-commerce. In effect, Beanie Babies evolved to become the world's first Internet sensation and Ty Warner became a billionaire. Early life and education Lina Trivedi, an Indian American who was born to a Gujarati-speaking Brahmin family in Chicago, IL. She lived in Addison, IL for most of her school-age and young-adult life. The Boeing 747 is a large, long-range wide-body airliner designed and manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes in the United States between 1968 and 2022. After introducing the 707 in October 1958, Pan Am wanted a jet times its size, to reduce its seat cost by 30%. In 1965, Joe Sutter left the 737 development program to design the 747, the first twin-aisle airliner. In April 1966, Pan Am ordered 25 Boeing 747-100 aircraft and in late 1966, Pratt & Whitney agreed to develop the JT9D engine, a high-bypass turbofan. On September 30, 1968, the first 747 was rolled out of the custom-built Everett Plant, the world's largest building by volume. In 1983, Facets Multi-Media founded the Chicago International Children's Film Festival (CICFF), the first competitive festival of films for children in the U.S. The impetus for the Festival came from a need to introduce new, culturally diverse films for children to American children's audiences, and to recognize excellence in children's filmmaking.
