Lina Santiago
Lina Santiago (born September 5, 1978) is an American singer and musician. She is best known for her 1996 single, "Feels So Good (Show Me Your Love)", which peaked at #35 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 that year. On the US dance chart, the single peaked at #6 and spent a total of 13 weeks on the chart. She released one album, ''Feels So Good'', in 1996, which included the single of the same name. Career In the early 1990s, Santiago performed with her father's band. In 1995, she formed a singing group with childhood friends and they performed in clubs in Los Angeles, CA. That same year, Santiago won a karaoke contest at the Acapulco restaurant in Downey, CA. This win influenced her decision to pursue a solo career in music. Freestyle music, also called Latin freestyle or Latin hip-hop ''(sic)'' is a form of electronic dance music that emerged in the New York metropolitan area and Philadelphia, primarily among Hispanic Americans and Italian Americans in the 1980s. It experienced its greatest popularity from the late 1980s until the early 1990s. A common theme of freestyle lyricism originated as heartbreak in an urban environment typified by New York City. Delinquent Habits is an American hip hop group, formed in Norwalk in 1991. They are known for their Latin-tinged rap, which is both melodic and hardcore. Their first album was executive produced by Cypress Hill member Sen Dog and featured guest appearances by Sen himself as well as Puerto Rican New York City rapper Hurricane G.
