Run by Skip Groff out of his Yesterday and Today Records store, Limp was one of the first labels releasing music from the nascent D.C. punk scene. The label's more notable output includes the first Bad Brains release (a song on ''The Best of Limp (…Rest of Limp)''), the second Minor Threat record (a split release with Dischord), and the first record by Black Market Baby. The label's first release was the Slickee Boys second EP. Slogans On the '':30 Over DC'' album, there are slogans next to the logos on each side of the record. Next to the square logo it says "Limp Records—our business is fitting squares onto round holes." Next to the round logo it says "Limp Records hang a round on spindles all day." Run-out groove messages The f ...

The Afrika Korps
''The'' () is a grammatical article in English, denoting persons or things already mentioned, under discussion, implied or otherwise presumed familiar to listeners, readers, or speakers. It is the definite article in English. ''The'' is the most frequently used word in the English language; studies and analyses of texts have found it to account for seven percent of all printed English-language words. It is derived from gendered articles in Old English which combined in Middle English and now has a single form used with pronouns of any gender. The word can be used with both singular and plural nouns, and with a noun that starts with any letter. This is different from many other languages, which have different forms of the definite article for different genders or numbers. Pronunciation In most dialects, "the" is pronounced as (with the voiced dental fricative followed by a schwa) when followed by a consonant sound, and as (homophone of pronoun ''thee'') when followed by a v ...

The image has been imitated by punk bands such as Rancid on their album '' ...And Out Come the Wolves'' and in the Major Threat ad campaign by Nike. All the tracks from the ''Minor Threat'' and ''In My Eyes'' EPs are available on CD on the Minor Threat's 1989 compilation album ''Complete Discography'' and also on ''Dischord 1981: The Year in 7"s''.
