Lim Keng Peng
Lim Keng Peng (林景明 Lín Jĭngmíng; – 3 May 1988), better known as Ah Huat (阿发 A Fā), was a Singaporean criminal who was wanted for the murder of a police detective named Goh Ah Khia in December 1985. While Lim did not have any prior criminal record before he killed Detective Goh, Lim was also involved in the fatal shooting of a restaurant owner Vincent Loke Kok Nam, which occurred in April of the same year he killed the policeman. Lim, who went into hiding, subsequently became one of Singapore's ten most wanted criminals. After a 30-month manhunt, Lim was discovered and killed during a police ambush. A coroner's court found Lim guilty of the two murders he was accused for, and his death was ruled as a lawful killing on the part of the policemen who shot him. Clementi, Singapore
Clementi (, ;) is a planning area and residential town located at the easternmost fringe of the West Region of Singapore. The town borders Bukit Batok to the north, Bukit Timah to the northeast, Queenstown to the east and Jurong East to the west. Etymology "Clementi" derives its name from 'Clementi Road', the main traffic route that still runs into the district to this day. It was once known as 'Reformatory Road' as there was a boys' home situated along the road. In 1947, the Singapore Rural Board discussed renaming the road. Their original intention was to name it after Sir Hugh Clifford, but it was eventually named as Clementi Road. Khor Kok Soon
Khor Kok Soon (许国顺 Xŭ Guóshùn; 23 February 1953 – ) was a Singaporeans, Singaporean gunman who was notorious for his high-profile shoot-out with the police at Shenton Way on 30 July 1984, and was also the prime suspect behind the murder of a 26-year-old lorry driver, whom he held as a hostage to help him drive away from the police before he allegedly killed him. Khor, who was involved in previous armed robbery offences prior to the 1984 shooting incident, fled Singapore after shoot-out and went on the run for the next 19 years, therefore becoming one of Singapore's ten most wanted criminals. On 31 May 2015, Mohamed Tuafik Zahar was shot by the police manning a high security checkpoint located near the Shangri-La Hotel Singapore, Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore where the Shangri-La Dialogue was being held. Tuafik was driving a car when he accelerated towards police officers at a roadblock. Taufik dead upon being shot at and his two passengers was subsequently convicted of drug offences.
