Lilliet Mamaregane
Mmamora Lilliet Mamaregane is a South African politician who has represented the African National Congress (ANC) in the Limpopo Provincial Legislature since October 2022. Before that she served in the National Council of Provinces (NCOP) since 2019. She is an active member and former Provincial Secretary of the ANC Women's League in Limpopo. Life and career Mamaregane matriculated at Mafolofolo Secondary School in Sebayeng near Polokwane in present-day Limpopo province. In the 1980s, she was a shop steward in the South African Commercial, Catering and Allied Workers Union and was also active in the South African National Civic Organisation. She joined the ANC in the 1990s and subsequently rose through the local and regional ranks of the ANC Women's League in Limpopo. She also served for a period as a local councillor in the Capricorn District Municipality. Limpopo Provincial Legislature
The Limpopo Provincial Legislature is the primary legislative body of the South African province of Limpopo. It is unicameral in its composition, and elects the premier and the provincial cabinet, the Limpopo Executive Council, from among the members of the leading party or coalition in the parliament. The first legislature was inaugurated in May 1994 as the Northern Transvaal Provincial Legislature. It was renamed in 1995 to the Northern Province Provincial Legislature, and again in 2003 to the Limpopo Provincial Legislature. The South African National Civics Organisation or South African National Civic Organisation (SANCO) is an umbrella political organisation in South Africa. It was founded in March 1992 to coordinate among existing civic organisations, which had been central in the latter phases of the struggle against apartheid. 2019 South African General Election

Provincial Executive Committees Of The African National Congress
The Provincial Executive Committees (PEC) of the African National Congress (ANC) are the chief executive organs of the party's nine provincial branches. Comprising the so-called Top Five provincial officials and up to 30 additional elected members, each is structured similarly to the ANC's National Executive Committee and is elected every four years at party provincial conferences. Bertha Amanda Joyce Matshoge (1959/1960 – 25 June 2016), commonly known as Joy Matshoge, was a South African politician who served as Limpopo's Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Agriculture and Rural Development from May 2014 until her death in June 2016. Before that, from 2013 to 2014, she was the Deputy Speaker of the Limpopo Provincial Legislature, where she had represented the African National Congress (ANC) since 2008. The South African Commercial, Catering and Allied Workers Union (SACCAWU) is a trade union representing retail, distribution and hospitality workers in South Africa. History The union founded in 1975, as the Commercial Catering and Allied Workers' Union (CCAWUSA). The first General Secretary was the union stalwart, Emma Mashinini, and Makhulu Ledwaba was elected as the first President of CCAWUSA. It initially grew strongly, but an unsuccessful strike in 1984 for higher wages in large hotels led most of the hospitality workers leaving, while the small Federal Council of Retail and Allied Workers also split away.
