Lilli Suburg ( in Rõusa Manor – 8 February 1923 in Valga) was an Estonian journalist, writer and feminist. In 1882, she established a private primary school for Estonian girls in Pärnu, in 1885 she moved it to Viljandi where the number of pupils expanded. In 1887–1894, she founded and began publishing the first women's magazine in Estonia, ''Linda''. When forced to sell her journal, Suburg moved to Latvia and headed a school there until 1907. Early life and education Caroline Suburg, known as Lilli, was born on 1 August 1841 ( N.S.) on the Rőusa estate, in the Uue-Vändra township of Vändra Parish, in the Russian Empire to Eva (née Nuut) and Toomas Suburg. ''Lilli'' is a 2018 Indian Malayalam-language revenge thriller film written and directed by Prasobh Vijayan. It was produced by E4 Experiments and distributed by E4 Entertainment. The film began production in early 2017. It won the Kerala State Film Awards for Best Female Dubbing Artist for Sneha. Plot Lilli a pregnant woman gets a call saying her husband has been involved in an accident. While searching for her husband, she is hit by a car, taken to a secluded location and tortured by three men who hope she can provide information regarding a young girl, whom Lilli pretends not to know about. Three days later, Lilli tells the men the location of the girl. Lili kills two of the men when the other leaves to search for the girl. Lilli Promet (16 February 1922 – 16 February 2007) was an Estonian author. Life Promet was born in Petseri to the Estonian painter, Aleksander Promet. After finishing Tallinn 18th Elementary School, she entered the State Industrial Art School in 1935, from which she graduated in Spring 1940. In Autumn she was asked to work at the newspaper ''Noorte Hääl''. After the outbreak of World War II, she and her family were forced to leave their home and evacuated to Tatarstan. In Summer 1943, Promet went to work at Estonian language radio in blocked Leningrad. 1944–1951 she worked as a journalist in Tallinn. Promet died on her 85th birthday in Tallinn. She is buried at the Metsakalmistu cemetery in Tallinn. She was married to writer Ralf Parve Ralf Parve (until 1978 Ralf Perman; 25 June 1919 Rakvere – 29 April 2011 Tallinn) was an Estonian writer. Lilli Lehmann, born Elisabeth Maria Lehmann, later Elisabeth Maria Lehmann-Kalisch (24 November 1848 – 17 May 1929) was a German operatic soprano. She was also a voice teacher. Biography The future opera star's father, Karl-August Lehmann, was a singer (Heldentenor) while her mother, Maria Theresia Löw (1809–1885), was a soprano. Her younger sister, Marie, also went on to become an operatic soprano. Her first lessons were from her mother, who had been a prima donna under Spohr at the Cassel opera. After singing small parts on the stage, for example in Mozart's ''Magic Flute'' at Prague in 1866, and studies under Heinrich Laube in Leipzig, Lehmann made her proper debut in 1870 in Berlin as a light soprano in Meyerbeer's ''Das Feldlager in Schlesien''.
