Lilla Melodifestivalen
(known as ''MGP Junior'' in 2002) was a Swedish televised song competition for children aged 8 to 15, organised by (SVT). The competing songs were primarily in Swedish and written by the participants themselves. History In 2002 and again from 2006 to 2009, it was used to select the entry to represent Sweden in Melodi Grand Prix Nordic, a song contest between Scandinavian countries. Between – and –, the winners participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest (JESC) instead, a similar competition with countries across Europe. In 2006, SVT withdrew from JESC along with Denmark and Norway and revived MGP Nordic. Marianne Elisabeth Grönwall (, née ''Nordqvist''; born 18 May 1962), known by her stage name Nanne (), is a Swedish singer-songwriter. Biography Grönvall's musical career started in the 1980s group Sound of Music. The trio participated twice in the Swedish Eurovision Song Contest selections, Melodifestivalen, finishing fourth both times; in 1986 with "Eldorado" and in 1987 with "Alexandra". Over the following ten years, she established herself as a songwriter in Melodifestivalen, writing two songs for the 1992 competition and the 1995 runner-up "Det vackraste" ("The Most Beautiful Thing") performed by Cecilia Vennersten. The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2012 was the tenth edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest. It took place at the AFAS Live, Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam, Netherlands on 1 December 2012. Dutch broadcaster AVRO (broadcaster), AVRO was the host broadcaster for the event. For the second time the Netherlands hosted the contest, after hosting the contest in Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2007, 2007 in Rotterdam. Molly My Marianne Sandén (born 3 July 1992), also known by her middle name My Marianne, is a Swedish pop singer and voice actress. As a teenager, she represented Sweden in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 and participated in Melodifestivalen in 2009, 2012, and 2016. Her sisters Frida and Mimmi are also singers. Melodi Grand Prix Nordic 2008 was the fourth Nordic Melodi Grand Prix, a Scandinavian song contest for children aged 8 to 15. The contest was held on November 29, 2008 in Aarhus, Denmark and the participating countries were Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. Each country submitted two songs to participate in the first round with the top placing entry from each country proceeding to the super-final. The winner of the MGP Nordic 2008 was Norway's The BlackSheeps with " Oro jaska beana". Format Each country partakes in a national selection for MGP Nordic. The top two songs from each country proceed to MGP Nordic. Eight songs participate in the contest to make it more substantial. All eight songs in the Final are performed. MGP Nordic 2007
The MGP Nordic 2007 song competition for children was held in Oslo, Norway, on 24 November 2007. It was the third time a Nordic Melodi Grand Prix competition was held. Participating countries were Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. 2007 also marked the first time that Finland participated. The debuting country was represented by Yle Fem, the Swedish-speaking division of Yle. As a result, Finland's songs were sung in Swedish rather than Finnish. Organization One song from each country will win a place in the 'super final', whereupon a winner will be announced. Winners were determined only by televoting. Måns Petter Albert Sahlén Zelmerlöw (; born 13 June 1986) is a Swedish pop singer, songwriter and television presenter.
