Lilia del Valle (30 April 1928, in Mexico City – 7 January 2013, in Santo Domingo) was a Mexican actress, a star in the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. She appeared in films such as '' Las tres alegres comadres'' (1952) and '' Las interesadas'' (1952), together with Amalia Aguilar and Lilia Prado, '' Mis tres viudas alegres'' (1953) and '' Las cariñosas'' (1953) with Silvia Pinal, '' Nadie muere dos veces'' (1953), with Luis Aguilar and Abel Salazar, and '' Esposas infieles'' (1956). Abel Salazar (actor)
Abel Salazar García (24 September 1917 – 21 October 1995) was a Mexican actor, producer and director. He appeared in 70 films between 1941 and 1989. He was a son of ''Don'' García and his wife, and brother to ''Don'' Alfredo Salazar. Personal life After marriages to Alicia Cárdenas and Gloria Marín, he married, lastly, Rosita Arenas, who had been briefly married to Spanish actor Jaime de Mora y Aragón. Salazar and Arenas had a daughter, Rosa Salazar Arenas, a Mexican actress and screenwriter. and is a writer of the Mexican Spanish-language soap opera ''Llena de amor'' (English title: ''Fill me with love''), produced by Televisa, that began airing in 2010. She co-authored ''Rituales Para El Amor, La Belleza y La Prosperidad'' (1998), with Pita Ojeda. He died of respiratory failure and Alzheimer's disease in 1995. Luis Aguilar (actor)
Luis Aguilar Manzo (29 January 1918 – 24 October 1997) was a Mexican film and television actor and singer. He was also known as ''El Gallo Giro'', and was noted for his performances in films as ''El 7 leguas'' (1955) and ''El látigo negro'' (1958). Aguilar was born in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. He was given his first leading role in the film '' Sota, Caballo y Rey'' (1944). He had two daughters (Anna Luisa y Martha Fernanda Aguilar) from his first marriage, and one son (Luis Aguilar Doblado) from his second marriage with Rosario Gálvez. The Golden Age of Mexican cinema ( es, Época de Oro del Cine Mexicano) is a period in the history of the Cinema of Mexico between 1930 and 1969 when the Mexican film industry reached high levels of production, quality and economic success of its films, besides having gained recognition internationally. It began with the film ''Allá en el Rancho Grande'' (1936), directed by Fernando de Fuentes. In 1939, during World War II, the film industry in the US and Europe declined, because the materials previously destined for film production now were for the new arms industry. Many countries began to focus on making films about war, leaving an opportunity for Mexico to produce commercial films for the Mexican and Latin American markets.
