Lilah Fear
Lilah Fear (born 11 June 1999) is an American-born English-Canadian ice dancer. Representing Great Britain with her skating partner, Lewis Gibson, she is the 2023 European silver medalist, a four-time Grand Prix medalist, a two-time Challenger series gold medalist, the 2018 Bavarian Open champion, and a five-time British national champion (2017, 2019–2020, 2022–2023). Personal life Fear was born on 11 June 1999 in Greenwich, Connecticut, United States, to Canadian parents. She was raised in London, England, and attended South Hampstead High School. Fear is a tri British-Canadian-American citizen. She has a younger sister, Sasha, who competed in ice dance for Great Britain with her former partner George Waddell. She also has an older sister, Georgia, who was a nationally ranked cross country and track athlete at Dartmouth College and the University of Virginia. 2019 Skate Canada
The 2019 Skate Canada International was the second event of the 2019–20 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, a senior-level international invitational competition series. It was held at Prospera Place in Kelowna, British Columbia from October 25 to 27. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance. ISU Challenger Series
The ISU Challenger Series is a series of international figure skating competitions. Established by the International Skating Union in the 2014–15 season, it is a group of senior-level events ranked below the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Each event consists of at least three disciplines out of four ( men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing), and is required to take place between August 1 and December 15. The ISU Challenger Series Synchronized Skating is a separate competition series in the discipline of synchronized skating. Phillip Poole
Phillip Poole (born 24 June 1981 in Windsor) is a multi-medal winning English ice dancer and ice dance coach. Competitive career Phillip Poole's skating career began in 1986 at the age of five and he competed at his first British Championships in 1991. In the 1990s he was the British champion in novice-level single skating. He was also the champion in intermediate-level solo ice dancing before commencing his couples ice dance career. With his second partner, Charlotte Clements, Poole became the 2002 British bronze medalist on the senior level. The following year he teamed up with Phillipa Towler-Green and was coached by former World Champion, Diane Towler. Poole and Towler-Green were the 2005-2008 British silver medalists and the 2004 Nebelhorn Trophy bronze medalists. 2014–15 ISU Junior Grand Prix
The 2014–15 ISU Junior Grand Prix was the 18th season of a series of junior international competitions organized by the International Skating Union. It was the junior-level complement to the 2014–15 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance. At each event, skaters also earned points toward qualifying for the final. The top six skaters or teams from each discipline met at the 2014–15 Junior Grand Prix Final, held together with the senior final. Competitions The locations of the JGP events change yearly. The 2014–15 figure skating season began on July 1, 2014, and ended on June 30, 2015. During this season, elite skaters competed at the ISU Championship level in the 2015 European, Four Continents, World Junior, and World Championships. Other elite events included the Grand Prix series and Junior Grand Prix series, culminating in the Grand Prix Final, and the inaugural ISU Challenger Series. With his skating partner, Sasha Fear, he is the 2020 CS Nebelhorn Trophy silver medalist and the 2020 CS Budapest Trophy bronze medalist. On the junior level, he is a two-time British junior national champion (2018, 2019) and has competed in the final segment at the 2019 World Junior Championships.
