Lill Babs
Barbro Margareta Svensson (9 March 1938 – 3 April 2018), known by her stage name Lill-Babs, was a Swedish singer, actress and television host. From the early 1950s until her death in 2018, she was one of Sweden's best-known and popular singers. She represented Sweden in the 1961 Eurovision Song Contest in Cannes with the song "April, april". She was also well known for the song "Är du kär i mej ännu Klas-Göran?" ("Are You Still in Love with Me, Klas-Göran?"). Early life and career Lill-Babs was born Barbro Svensson in Järvsö, north of Stockholm. Lil' Ed Williams (born April 8, 1955, Chicago, Illinois) is an American blues slide guitarist, singer and songwriter. With his backing band, the Blues Imperials, he has built up a loyal following. Biography In childhood, Williams and his half-brother James "Pookie" Young received encouragement and tutelage from their uncle, the blues guitarist, songwriter and recording artist J. B. Hutto, who introduced them to his student Dave Weld. Together with Dave Weld, (rhythm guitar and vocals) formed the first version of the Blues Imperials. Marcus Lakee Edwards (born March 29, 1976), better known by his stage name Lil' Keke, is an American rapper and original member of the Southern hip hop collective Screwed Up Click. Biography Music career Lil' Keke gained national attention with his track "Southside" from his 1997 release "Don't Mess Wit Texas". In 2005, Lil' Keke signed to Swishahouse Records. Raqhid Jevon Render (March 16, 1998 – May 13, 2022), known professionally as Lil Keed, was an American rapper and songwriter. He was signed to Young Thug's record label YSL Records, as well as 300 Entertainment. His song " Nameless" reached number 42 on the ''Billboard'' Hip Hop/R&B Songs Airplay chart. Lil Italy (born September 8, 1973) is an American rapper who began his career as G-Note of California rap group Funk Mobb, who were signed to E-40's label Sick With It Records from 1994 to 1998, when the group disbanded. He joined No Limit Records in 1998 under the new stage name of Lil Italy, and released his first and only album with No Limit, ''On Top of da World'', in 1999. The record peaked at #99 on the ''Billboard'' 200 and #20 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, and featured guest appearances from the likes of Silkk the Shocker, Snoop Dogg, and Magic, but Lil Italy was soon dropped from the label due to poor sales. Semaja Render, known professionally as Lil Gotit, is an American rapper and singer. Early life Semaja Zair Render was born in Atlanta, Georgia, the youngest of seven children. Render was initially raised in Forest Park on Southside Atlanta's Conley Road. After dropping out of high school during his freshman year, Render moved to Cleveland Avenue. Like his late brother and fellow rapper Lil Keed, who was one year older, Gotit did not start taking rap seriously until his friend Rudy was killed a few days before the release of the group compilation mixtape ''Young Slime Season'' in 2016.
