Like Me (musical)
''Like Me'' is a musical with music and lyrics by Garry Lake and book by Jon Smith. It tells the story of a group of four young adults navigating the social media minefield, looking for each other, for love, for validation and ultimately, for themselves – in amongst a cyber world populated by thousands of 'followers' and 'friends'. Haunted by a lack of self-confidence and self-respect, Emma, Ashley, Luke and Charlie face physical, emotional and psychological challenges, leading them to question their very identity. Originally conceived as a song cycle by Garry Lake and performed at the Duplex, New York and the CMO Club at the Conrad Hilton, the full-book musical was first seen in a showcase performance at the Courtyard Theatre, London October 3, 2014. Arts Theatre
The Arts Theatre is a theatre in Great Newport Street, in Westminster, Central London. History It opened on 20 April 1927 as a members-only club for the performance of unlicensed plays, thus avoiding theatre censorship by the Lord Chamberlain's office. It was one of a small number of committed, independent theatre companies, including the Hampstead Everyman, the Gate Theatre Studio and the Q Theatre, which took risks by producing a diverse range of new and experimental plays, or plays that were thought to be commercially non-viable on the West End. The theatrical producer Norman Marshall referred to these as 'The Other Theatre' in his 1947 book of the same name. Mig Ayesa
Miguel Alfonso Ramon Legarda "MiG" Ayesa (born 12 January 1970) is a Filipino-Australian singer and actor who was a finalist in the reality television show '' RockStar: INXS'' as well as appearing in stage productions of ''We Will Rock You'' (London); ''Thriller Live'' and '' Bridges of Madison County'' (Manila). Life and career Ayesa was born in Manila, Philippines and raised in Sydney. Ayesa was studying communications at Macquarie University in Sydney when he was offered the role of Ritchie Valens in the theatre production of ''Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story''. He decided to put his studies on hold and went on tour with the production all across Australia. He has since performed in theatres, commercials, television series and film. Louise Dearman
Louise Dearman (born 13 March 1979) is a British actress and singer, perhaps best known for playing Glinda and Elphaba in the West End production of the musical ''Wicked.'' Notably, she is the only actress to have played both witches in any production of ''Wicked'' full-time. Oliver Tompsett
Oliver Tompsett (born 25 August 1981) is a British actor and singer. He is best known for his portrayal of Fiyero in the West End production of the musical ''Wicked'', and for playing the role of Galileo in the West End Smash hit ''We Will Rock You''.
