Liina Reiman
Liina Reiman (née Liina Põlde; 14 November 1891, in Valga – 11 September 1961, in Helsinki) was an Estonian actress. She started her stage career in 1910 at Vanemuine Theatre. 1912–1915 she worked at Endla Theatre in Pärnu. Later she worked at Estonia Theatre, Tallinn Drama Theatre, Vanemuine Theatre. 1933–1938 she performed also a lot in Finland. From 1944 she lived and worked in Finland. Reiman was married to Estonian composer and conductor Raimund Kull Raimund Kull (3 October 1882 – 10 October 1942) was an Estonian conductor and composer. Born in Narva, at the time part of the Russian Empire, Kull studied trombone at the St. Petersburg Conservatory from 1900 until 1906. He then worked as an .... She died on 11 September 1961 Helsinki. Metsakalmistu
Metsakalmistu (meaning ''Forest Cemetery'') is a cemetery in the Pirita district of Tallinn. Metsakalmistu was originally planned to be a public medieval cemetery. Eduard Vilde was the first to be buried in 1933. The original area of the cemetery was 24.2 hectares, but has since expanded to be 48.3 hectares. Metsakalmistu was officially opened in 1939. That same year, 15 people were buried in the cemetery. In 1939, the nearby Kloostrimetsa Farm cemetery was created, which eventually, through expansion, became part of an expanded Metsakalmistu. At first, the designers of the cemetery were unanimous about the general design requirements of the cemetery, but the area was still dominated by the appearance of a wild forest. Raimund Kull
Raimund Kull (3 October 1882 – 10 October 1942) was an Estonian conductor and composer. Born in Narva, at the time part of the Russian Empire, Kull studied trombone at the St. Petersburg Conservatory from 1900 until 1906. He then worked as an orchestra conductor in St. Petersburg, Kazan, and Rostov. From 1912 until 1920, he was the chief conductor of the Estonian National Opera, from 1920 the conductor and from 1930 to 1942 the music director. From 1918 until 1927, he was the conductor of the orchestra of the Estonian Navy, and from 1934 until 1939, conductor of the National Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra. Kull was one of the founders of Tallinn Conservatory, established in 1919 during the Estonian War of Independence, and taught trombone at the conservatory from 1929. He became a professor at the institute in 1937. Kull was a conductor of the wind orchestra of the IX, X and XI Estonian Song Festivals, held in 1928, 1933, and 1938 respectively. Valga (german: Walk) is a town in southern Estonia and the capital of Valga County and Valga Parish. Until their separation in 1920, Valga and the town of Valka in northern Latvia were one town.
