Yasmin Perry (born 10 March 1993), who performs under the mononym Yasmin, is an English singer, songwriter and DJ. She is signed to record label Levels Entertainment, an imprint of Ministry of Sound and began her singing career in October 2010 when she appeared on rapper Devlin's single " Runaway". Her debut single, " On My Own", was released on 30 January 2011. Career Early history Yasmin was born on 10 March 1993 in Ashington, England to an Iranian father and English mother. She was raised in Northumberland and also lived in Manchester and Kilmacolm, near Glasgow in Scotland. Yasmin began her musical career when she was seventeen years old. Freemasons are an English DJ duo from Brighton, East Sussex, England. The act consists of the producers Russell Small (who is also one half of the house production duo Phats & Small) and James Wiltshire (who also works with Phats & Small under the alias 'Jimmy Gomez'). Wickerman Festival
The Wickerman Festival was an annual music festival held near Auchencairn in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. Dubbed "Scotland's Alternative Music festival", its motto was "The Wickerman Festival – it's better than it needs to be!" It began in 2001 when Sid Ambrose, later the festival's artistic director, hit upon the idea of a local counterculture-based, family-friendly event whilst working with the Stewartry Music Initiative. This was due in large part to the surrounding area featuring various locations used in the cult British horror film ''The Wicker Man'' (1973), starring Christopher Lee and Edward Woodward. Ambrose took the idea to local farmer Jamie Gilroy and they arranged for the festival to take place within a natural amphitheatre of of prime Galloway grazing land at East Kirkcarswell Farm, Dundrennan. Andre Williams, better known as Shy FX, is a British DJ and producer from London. He specialises in drum and bass and jungle music. Biography Shy FX's debut record was "Jungle Love", released in 1992 on the Permission to Dance label. Soon after, he signed to Sound of the Underground Records (often abbreviated as S.O.U.R.) and in 1994 released the breakthrough ragga jungle track "Original Nuttah" (featuring vocals from MC UK Apachi) which helped to cement his position as a mainstay producer of the jungle/drum & bass scene.
