Lifted (Naughty Boy Song)
"Lifted" is a single released by British record producer Naughty Boy, featuring vocals from Scottish singer and songwriter Emeli Sandé. It was released on 18 August 2013 as the third single from Naughty Boy's debut album, ''Hotel Cabana'' (2013). The full track was uploaded to Naughty Boy's SoundCloud account on 4 July 2013. An alternate version of the song, featuring a rap from Professor Green is included on the album as well as the original song. Music video A music video to accompany the release of "Lifted" was first released onto YouTube on 29 July 2013 at a total length of three minutes and twenty-six seconds. The video shows two guys stumble upon a seemingly deserted hotel, which plays host to a number of lone figures dancing. The video was shot in the Shawangunk Mountains in the Hudson Valley Region of New York, and features interior scenes of the historic Hudson Valley Resort & Spa. Naughty Boy
Shahid Khan ( ur, شاهد خان; born 1 January 1981), better known by his stage name Naughty Boy, is a British DJ, record producer, songwriter and musician. In 2012, Khan signed a three–year publishing deal with Sony ATV, as well as a recording contract to release one album under Virgin EMI Records. Khan launched himself as a record producer under the moniker "Naughty Boy" and runs his own production company called Naughty Boy Recordings. He has produced two records for rappers Chipmunk and Wiley, both featuring Emeli Sandé. Naughty Boy and Sandé later formed a writing and production partnership, leading to Sandé landing her own record deal with Virgin and EMI. Rafael Greifer, better known by his stage name Raf Riley, is a record producer and artist from North London. He was formerly a member of ExR alongside Etta Bond, and is signed to Odd Child Recordings, OddChild Music and has released on Diplo's Mad Decent label. ExR released two EPs: ''Emergency Room'' and ''Meds''. He released his own EP titleNow That's What I Call Gangster Beats!!in January 2013. Riley is also known for his comedy production: alongside Rogue Films, Reuben "Dangerman" Dangoor, Riley is one half of the Grand Spectacular. Virgin Records is a record label owned by Universal Music Group. It originally founded as a British independent record label in 1972 by entrepreneurs Richard Branson, Simon Draper, Nik Powell, and musician Tom Newman. The Dutch Top 40 ( nl, Nederlandse Top 40) is a weekly music chart compiled by ''Stichting Nederlandse Top 40''. It started as a radio program titled "Veronica Top 40", on the offshore station Radio Veronica in 1965. It remained "The Veronica Top 40" until 1974, when the station was forced to stop broadcasting. Joost den Draaijer initiated the Top 40 in the Netherlands. The show currently airs on Fridays from 2 to 6 PM on Qmusic. Kiss FM is a Top40/Hit Radio station from Romania, owned by ANT1 Group. The station was rebranded from the old Radio Contact, after being purchased by a Belgian radio network. The rebranding came with a number of "on air" personalities, such as Șerban Huidu and Mihai Găinușă, the new network quickly got to be one of the most popular hit stations in Romania where it covers the main cities.
