''Life Could Be a Dream'' is a jukebox musical written by Roger Bean, creator of '' The Marvelous Wonderettes.'' The original production at the Hudson Theatre in Hollywood, California was directed by Bean and was produced by David Elzer. It premiered on August 7, 2009 and starred Daniel Tatar, Jim Holdridge, Ryan Castellino, Doug Carpenter and Jessica Keenan Wynn. Roger Bean
Roger Bean (born March 20, 1962) is a writer and director who specializes in jukebox musicals. Bean wrote ''The Marvelous Wonderettes'', which played Off-Broadway at the Westside Theatre in New York City. ''The Marvelous Wonderettes'' was first written for the Milwaukee Repertory Theater, where Bean created various other musicals utilizing established and lesser-known radio and popular hits.
