Liebesschmerz (English: Love pain) is the second single from the 1999 Schiller debut album ''Zeitgeist'' with spoken word passages by German actor and voice actor Hans Paetsch (1909–2002). Paetsch became famous in the German-speaking countries for narrating fairy tales. The trance music single was officially released on 2 July 1999 and peaked at number 24 on German Singles Chart in 1999. The cover art shows a graphic of a heart. Schiller (band)
Schiller () is a German electronic music band that rose to fame in 1998 and is named after the German poet and dramatist Friedrich Schiller. Originally, it was a duo consisting of Christopher von Deylen () and Mirko von Schlieffen. Around 2001 or 2002, von Schlieffen left the band, leaving von Deylen the solo member. Schiller won the ECHO award in 2002 for the Best Dance Single of the Year with "Dream of You". Schiller has sold over 7 million albums worldwide. Christopher von Deylen does not provide any vocals for Schiller productions himself. Das Glockenspiel (English: ''Carillon'' or ''chime of bells'') is the first single from the 1999 Schiller debut album, ''Zeitgeist''. It's the debut of Schiller and it was subtitled internationally with the title The Bell. The trance music single was officially released on 31 December 1998 in Germany and was peaking at number 21 on German Singles Chart in 1999 and on number 17 in the UK Singles Chart. The cover art work shows a graphic of a bell. The music video was shot in the United States. The single became famous for featuring a bell-like melody. The song's name is inspired by the poem "Das Lied von der Glocke" (Song of the Bell) by Friedrich Schiller from 1799. Christopher von Deylen, one of the producers of Schiller, had just read "Die Glocke" by Friedrich Schiller before the song was released. The band's name was also inspired by Friedrich Schiller. The song is titled internationally as "Peace".
