Lidice (film)
''Lidice'' (also known as ''Fall of the Innocent'' in the UK) is a 2011 Czech language, Czech drama film produced by Adam Dvořák from a screenplay by Zdenek Mahler. It was initially directed by Alice Nellis, but after she contracted Lyme disease (borreliosis), Petr Nikolaev took over. It tells a story involving the Nazi massacre at—and destruction of—the Czech village of Lidice. It was released in June 2011. The film is streaming on Amazon Prime under the title ''Fall of the Innocent'' (US, 15 April 2018). The budget of the film was around 65–70 million Czech koruna, Kč (around USD, US $4 million). Plot The film is presented as a true story set during World War II. Zuzana Fialová
Zuzana Fialová (born 17 May 1974 in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia) is a Slovak actress. She attended the music and drama department at the Conservatory in Bratislava, and in 1998 graduated acting studies at the drama faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. Currently she is preparing for a graduate degree. She is divorced and has a son. In 2006, she won the first season of the Slovak version of ''Dancing with the Stars'' entitled '' Let's Dance''. Štětí (; ) is a town in Litoměřice District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 8,600 inhabitants. It lies on the Elbe river. It is located around north of Prague and west of Mělník. Kladno (; german: Kladen) is a city in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 67,000 inhabitants. Nové Strašecí is a town in Rakovník District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 5,600 inhabitants. Karel Schwarzenberg
Prince Karel of Schwarzenberg (, born 10 December 1937) is a Czech politician, former leader of the TOP 09 party and was its candidate for president of the Czech Republic in the 2013 election. Detlef Bothe (born 24 July 1965) is a German actor, screenwriter, film director and producer. Since the early 1990s, he has appeared in numerous film and television productions, both German and international. Jan Budař
Jan Budař (born 31 July 1977) is a Czech actor, director, singer, composer and script writer. Biography Budař was born in Frýdlant near Liberec. He graduated from the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts (JAMU) in Brno in 2000. He started his career in Brno's theatres under the tutelage of theatre director Vladimír Morávek. This creative partnership led to their first film, '' Boredom in Brno''. Budař also co-authored the script and composed the music. The comedy was awarded five Czech Lions in 2003, including Best Male Actor for Jan Budař's performance.
