The Liberty Tower is a 27-story high-rise residential building and small business tower located at 620 Collins Street on the corner of Collins and Spencer streets in the Melbourne central business district, Australia. Background Liberty Tower is located in the "Gdansk" end of Collins street on the north eastern corner of the Collins Street and Spencer Street intersection. Liberty Tower (Manhattan)
The Liberty Tower, formerly the Sinclair Oil Building, is a 33-story residential building in the Financial District of Manhattan in New York City. It is at 55 Liberty Street at the northwest corner with Nassau Street. It was built in 1909–10 as a commercial office building and was designed by Henry Ives Cobb in a Gothic Revival style. The site is adjacent to the New York Chamber of Commerce Building, while the Federal Reserve Bank of New York Building is to the east, across Nassau Street. Upon its completion, Liberty Tower was said to be the world's tallest building with such a small footprint, having a floor area ratio of 30 to 1. The building's articulation consists of three horizontal sections similar to the components of a column, namely a base, shaft, and capital. The limestone building is covered in white architectural terracotta with elaborate ornament. Liberty Tower (South Bend)
The Liberty Tower is a 25-story skyscraper in downtown South Bend, Indiana. Completed in 1970, its anchor tenant is now an Aloft Hotel. History After the demolition of the Oliver Hotel in 1967, the then-called American National Bank Building was constructed beginning in 1968 and was topped out in 1970. Several years after its completion and grand opening in late 1970, its name was changed to the Valley National Bank Building. Architecture The tower was built with a modernist design, with a concrete facade. It has a white base color, as well as gray and dark teal highlights. Tenants and usage The current anchor tenant is the Aloft Hotel, which occupies most of the building. The WXYZ Lounge is located on the first floor. Floors two through eight host 220 parking spaces. Liberty Memorial
The National World War I Museum and Memorial in Kansas City, Missouri was opened in 1926 as the Liberty Memorial. In 2004, it was designated by the United States Congress as the country's official war memorial and museum dedicated to World War I. It is managed by a non-profit organization in cooperation with the Kansas City Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners. The museum focuses on global events from the causes of World War I before 1914 through the 1918 armistice and 1919 Paris Peace Conference. Visitors enter the exhibit space within the facility across a glass bridge above a field of 9,000 red poppies, each representing 1,000 combatant deaths. The Liberty Towers or Liberty View Towers, is an apartment complex in Jersey City, New Jersey. It consists of Liberty Towers West, and Liberty Towers East, both of which were constructed from 2001 to 2003 and have 36 floors. They also have the same height of . The buildings rise from the same podium (base), which is used for parking and also contains a lobby. On top of the podium is a deck with leisure facilities for the tenants. The complex has 648 residential units. They were designed by architect Jordan Gruzen. The S. A. Wald Company Building was demolished to make way for Liberty Towers, which were originally called "Liberty View Towers". The postmodern buildings are made out of masonry, glass, and concrete. The building is part of a building boom in Jersey City's decayed railroad, warehouse and waterfront district, which is being redeveloped as large towers complex.
