Liberta, Antigua
Liberta is a town located in Saint Paul Parish, on the island of Antigua in Antigua and Barbuda. It had a population of 2,560 in 2001. It the third-largest town on Antigua. It is located in the southern island area, north of Falmouth Harbour and the port of Falmouth, to which it is connected by road. History Around the time of the 19th century British emancipation of slaves in British Antigua and Barbuda, a colonial plantation owner had financial troubles and was forced to sell off a part of her property in small lots. The ex-slaves in the neighbourhood bought up all the small freeholds, as they desired to own land in perpetuity. “Liberta”, meaning liberty and honoring the freed people, became the settlement's name in 1835. Pep's
Pep's is a French artist (as well as a group) based in Grenoble, with musical styles encompassing genres such as rock, R&B, and reggae. The group was formed in 2001. The stage name of singer (and group) comes from a nickname inspired by the lead singer's name: Florian Peppuy. His influences are very diverse, ranging from Led Zeppelin and Noir Désir, to Ben Harper, Otis Redding, and The Fugees. Biography Florian Peppuy first picked up the trombone age 6 and a decade later he started composing and performing locally in a group by the name of "Recycled." At the age of 18, he left for Paris, changed his stage name to Pep's and spent two years playing as a Busker in local Bars, and on the streets of Paris. Al Bano And Romina Power
Al Bano and Romina Power are an Italian-American pop music duo formed in 1975 by then-married couple Italian tenor Albano Carrisi and American singer Romina Power, the daughter of Hollywood actor Tyrone Power. They have recorded over 22 albums, which have sold in 150 million copies across six decades. Their best known international hits include "Felicità", "Sharazan", "Tu, soltanto tu (Mi hai fatto innamorare)", "Ci sarà", "Sempre sempre", and "Libertà!". They participated twice in Eurovision Song Contest in 1976 and 1985 and performed five times at Sanremo Music Festival, winning in 1984 with the song "Ci sarà". The Dacia 1325 (), also known as 1325 Liberta or simply as Liberta, was a car manufactured by Romanian auto marque Dacia. History Produced from 1991 until 1996,the Dacia 1325 was the hatchback version of the third generation Dacia 1310 (1989–1993), as well as the hatchback version of the fourth generation 1310 (1993–1998). Some photos exist of the Dacia 1325 Liberta with the final CN4 front fascia, although rare, and the successor of Dacia 1320 (1987–1990), which was the hatchback version of the second generation Dacia 1310 (1983-1989).
