The Lianyungang–Xuzhou high-speed railway (Chinese: 连徐客运专线) is a high-speed railway in China. The railway has a design speed of . The railway runs parallel to the Longhai railway and interchanges with it at Lianyungang and Donghaixian. It is the eastern-most section of the Eurasia Continental Bridge corridor. History Construction began on 6 November 2016. The railway, excluding Daxu South, opened on 8 February 2021. Lianyungang Railway Station
Lianyungang railway station () is a station in Haizhou District, Lianyungang, Haizhou District, Lianyungang, Jiangsu. History The station was established in 1925. The former site of the station was on Jiefang E. Road in the city center. In 1998, the station was moved to the current site together with the relocation of Longhai railway out of Lianyungang city center. The station was once named as Xinpu railway station (). It was changed to the current name on 1 January 2004. On 20 March 2015, the renovation and expansion project of the station started and the passenger services of the station was suspended. The former station building, opened in 1998, was demolished in 2016 to make room for new platforms and tracks. The new station building is south of the former site. References

Xuzhou East railway station (; or Xuzhoudong railway station) is a station dedicated for high-speed railways in Xuzhou, Jiangsu, People's Republic of China. It is served by the Beijing–Shanghai high-speed railway and Xuzhou-Lanzhou high-speed railway (Eurasia Continental Bridge passageway). The introduction of CRH series was a major part of the sixth national railway speedup, implemented on April 18, 2007. Eurasia Continental Bridge Corridor
The Eurasia Continental Bridge corridor () is a high-speed rail corridor connecting Lianyungang, a port in northern Jiangsu province, to Ürümqi, the regional capital of Xinjiang. The corridor passes through the cities of Xuzhou (Jiangsu), Zhengzhou (Henan), Xi'an (Shaanxi), Lanzhou ( Gansu), and Xining (Qinghai) en route. Announced in 2016 as part of the "eight verticals and eight horizontals" railway network plan, the rail corridor is an extension of the existing Xuzhou–Lanzhou high-speed railway. The Xuzhou–Yancheng high-speed railway is a high-speed railway in China. It has a design speed of . History In November 2014, construction was expected to take 4.5 years. The line opened on 16 December 2019. Route From Xuzhou East, the line heads southeast and serves Guanyin Airport, Suining, and Suqian.
