Liam Óg McGovern
Liam Óg McGovern (born 1991) is an Irish hurler who plays for Wexford Senior Championship club St Anne's Rathangan and at inter-county level with the Wexford senior hurling team. He usually lines out in the half forward line. Playing career Dublin Institute of Technology As a student at the Dublin Institute of Technology, McGovern joined the senior hurling team during his second year. He lined out in several Fitzgibbon Cup campaigns without success. St Anne's Rathangan McGovern joined the St Anne's Rathangan club at a young age and played in all grades at juvenile and underage levels as a dual player. He enjoyed championship success in the minor and under-21 grades as a Gaelic footballer. On 4 October 2009, McGovern lined out at right corner-forward when St Anne's Rathangan faced Horeswood in the final of the Wexford Football Championship. The 2017 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship was the 130th staging of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1887. The championship began on 23 April 2017 and ended on 3 September 2017. The draw for the championship was held on 13 October 2016 and was broadcast live on RTÉ2. The 2012 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship was the 125th staging of the All-Ireland hurling championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1887. The draw for the 2012 fixtures took place on 6 October 2011. The championship began on 19 May 2012 and ended on 30 September 2012. David Redmond
David Redmond (born 19 September 1987) is an Irish hurler. His league and championship career with the Wexford senior team lasted eleven seasons from 2007 until 2017. Born in The Ballagh, County Wexford, Redmond first played competitive hurling and Gaelic football at juvenile and underage levels with Oulart–The Ballagh. After much success in these grades he later joined the club's senior team. Since then he has won one Leinster medal and eight county senior championship medal. Redmond made his debut on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he was selected for the Wexford minor team. His sole season with the minor team ended without success. Redmond subsequently enjoyed an unsuccessful period with the Wexford under-21 team, however, his tenure with the intermediate team yielded an All-Ireland medal in 2007. The Leinster GAA Hurling All-Ireland Under-20 Championship known simply as the Leinster Under-20 Championship, is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Leinster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county hurling competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in the province of Leinster.
