Liam Keoghan
Liam Michael Keoghan (born 29 September 1967) is an Irish former hurler. At club level he played with Tullaroan and was also a member of the Kilkenny senior hurling team. He usually lined out as a wing-back. Career Keoghan first came to prominence at juvenile and underage levels with the Tullaroan club before eventually joining the club's top adult team. He enjoyed his first success in 1988 when Tullaroan won the County Intermediate Championship before claiming the County Senior Championship title in 1994. Keoghan first appeared on the inter-county scene with the Kilkenny minor team in 1985 before winning a Leinster Championship title with the under-21 side in 1988. He was drafted onto the Kilkenny senior hurling team prior to the start of the 1992-93 league and was at wing-back when Kilkenny beat Galway in the 1993 All-Ireland final. Tullaroan is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the village of Tullaroan in County Kilkenny, Ireland. The club was founded in 1884 and is primarily concerned with the game of hurling. Offaly GAA
The Offaly County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) ( ga, Cumann Luthchleas Gael Coiste Uíbh Fhailí) or Offaly GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Offaly. Separate county boards are also responsible for the Offaly county teams. The county hurling team won All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship (SHC) titles during the 1980s and 1990s but is no longer capable of competing at this level. Tullaroan Hurlers
Tullaroan () is a village in the western part of County Kilkenny in the Slieveardagh Hills near the County Tipperary, Tipperary border. Tullaroan is also the name of the local civil parish. The 1988 All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship was the 25th staging of the All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1964. The championship began on 8 June 1988 and ended on 11 September 1988. Limerick entered the championship as the defending champions, however, they were beaten by Cork in the Munster final. On 11 September 1988, Cork won the championship following a 4-11 to 1-05 defeat of Kilkenny in the All-Ireland final. This was their ninth All-Ireland title overall and their first title since 1982. The All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship of 1998 (known for sponsorship reasons as the Guinness Hurling Championship 1998) was the 112th staging of Ireland's premier hurling competition. Offaly won the championship, beating Kilkenny 2–16 to 1–13 in the final at Croke Park, Dublin. Format 1998 was the second year that the controversial "back door" or qualifier system was used in the All-Ireland Championship. While the two provincial final winners automatically qualify for the All-Ireland semi-finals the two defeated provincial teams join Galway and the Ulster provincial final winners in two "quarter-finals". Kilkenny Intermediate Hurling Championship
The Kilkenny Intermediate Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as Michael Lyng Motors Intermediate Hurling Championship and abbreviated to the Kilkenny IHC) is an annual hurling competition organised by the Kilkenny County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association and contested by intermediate clubs in the county of Kilkenny in Ireland. It is the second tier overall in the entire Kilkenny hurling championship system. The Kilkenny Intermediate Championship was introduced in 1929 as a competition that would bridge the gap between the senior grade and the junior grade. The 1994 Kilkenny Senior Hurling Championship was the 100th staging of the Kilkenny Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Kilkenny County Board since 1887. The championship began on 23 July 1994 and ended on 9 October 1994. Dicksboro entered the championship as the defending champions.
