Liam Graham (snooker Player)
Liam Graham (born 12 September 2004) is a Scottish snooker player. He won the EBSA European Under-21 Snooker Championships in March 2023. Early life Graham first played snooker with his grandfather in Cathcart, Glasgow. He also practised as a youngster with Scottish professional Alan McManus. Career As the top Scottish ranked under-21 amateur player he received a wildcard into the 2022 Scottish Open (snooker), Scottish Open in December 2022 where he played Michael Holt (snooker player), Michael Holt, losing narrowly 4-3. Graham won the 2023 EBSA European Under-21 Snooker Championships, held in Malta. He beat Ukrainian Iulian Boiko 5–2 in the final. With that win he was awarded a two-year tour card for the World Snooker Tour, starting from the 2023-24 snooker season. EBSA European Under-21 Snooker Championships
The EBSA European Under-21 Snooker Championships is the premier amateur junior snooker tournament in Europe. The event series is sanctioned by the European Billiards & Snooker Association. It took place first in 1997 and is held annually since then. The event was known as the EBSA European Under-19 Snooker Championships until 2010. Alan McManus
Alan McManus (born 21 January 1971) is a Scottish retired professional snooker player and current commentator who works for Eurosport. A mainstay of the world's top sixteen during the 1990s and 2000s, he has won two ranking events, the 1994 Dubai Classic and the 1996 Thailand Open, and competed in the World Championship semi-finals in 1992, 1993 and 2016. He also won the 1994 Masters, ending Stephen Hendry's five-year, 23-match unbeaten streak at the tournament with a 9–8 victory in the final. Michael Holt (born 7 August 1978) is an English former professional snooker player from Nottingham. A former world Top 20 player, he has won one ranking event – the 2020 Snooker Shoot Out – and two minor-ranking tournaments. He has been runner-up at two ranking events – the 2016 Riga Masters and the 2019 Snooker Shoot Out. He also reached the semi-finals of the 2013 Shanghai Masters as well as five further quarter-finals. Iulian Boiko (born 22 September 2005 in Kyiv, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian snooker player who was professional from 2020 to 2022. Career In May 2019, Boiko registered his first official century break in a 4–3 defeat against Billy Joe Castle in the Q School 2019 - Event 2.
