Liam Lloyd Davis (born 23 November 1986) is an English former professional footballer who most recently played for National League club Torquay United. Career Coventry City Davis joined Coventry City as a 16-year-old trainee from Fulham's Academy. He made his Coventry debut on 24 September 2005, aged 18, in a Football League Championship clash against Hull City at the Ricoh Arena. In March 2006, Davis was offered a new contract and eventually signed a new deal two months later. Davis then spent the start of the 2006–07 campaign on loan at Football League Two outfit Peterborough United on 14 September 2006. Two days after signing for the club, Davis made his Peterborough United debut, where he set up a goal for Trevor Benjamin to score the winning goal against Swindon Town. Liam Davis (born 8 November 1990) is an English semi-professional footballer. He last played for Cleethorpes Town. Davis started his career in the Youth teams of home town club Grimsby Town, where he failed to break into the first team. After departing Grimsby Town, he went onto play for Selby Town, Brigg Town, Gainsborough Trinity, and most recently Cleethorpes Town, who he represented in the 2017 FA Vase Final at Wembley. Liam Murray Davis (born 2 August 1984) is an Australian former professional cricketer who played for Western Australia in Australian domestic cricket. A former Australian under-19 representative, Davis made his debut for Western Australia in 2006. Generally playing as an opening batsman, he did not establish himself in the state team until late in the decade, having previously missed several matches due to injury. In February 2012, Davis scored a triple-century, 303 not out, against New South Wales, the second-highest score ever recorded for Western Australia at first-class level. Liam Davies (born 10 May 1986) is a Welsh rugby union footballer. A scrum-half, Davies began his professional rugby career with the Llanelli Scarlets, and made his league debut for the Scarlets while still in the region's development squad, playing against Cardiff Blues on 14 September 2005. He made a further nine appearances in the 2005–06 season, scoring a try against Glasgow Warriors on 16 October 2005. In March 2006, Davies was promoted to the Scarlets' first team squad, signing on a professional development contract. Davies started the 2006–07 season as the Scarlets' third-choice scrum-half, behind Dwayne Peel and Clive Stuart-Smith, and so was forced to wait until December to make his first appearance of the season. Liam James Davies (born 28 June 2006) is a Welsh amateur snooker player. Competing at the 2022 World Snooker Championship, Davies was the youngest player to win a match at the event. In addition to defeating Aaron Hill, Davies defeated Fergal O'Brien before losing on a to Jordan Brown in the penultimate qualifying round. As a result of high placing on the 2020–21 Q Tour, he was allowed to play in qualification events for the professional 2021–22 snooker season. In August 2022, Davies won three back-to-back junior world events, defeating Bulcsú Révész in the Under-16 championship and Antoni Kowalski in the Under-18 and Under-21 categories.
