Emperor Wenzong of Tang (809–840), personal name Li Ang, né Li Han (李涵), was an emperor of the Tang dynasty of China. He reigned from 827 to 840. Emperor Wenzong was the second son of Emperor Muzong and younger brother of Emperor Jingzong. A rare occurrence in Chinese history, Emperor Wenzong, along with his elder brother Emperor Jingzong and younger brother Emperor Wuzong, reigned in succession. Background Li Han was born in late 809, during the reign of his grandfather Emperor Xianzong. Shih Shu-tuan (; born 5 April 1952, in Lukang, Taiwan), pen name Li Ang (), is a Taiwanese feminist writer. After graduating from Chinese Culture University with a degree in philosophy, she studied drama at the University of Oregon, after which she returned to teach at her ''alma mater''. Her major work is ''The Butcher's Wife'' (殺夫: 1983, tr. 1986), though she has written many other novels. Feminist themes and sexuality are present in much of her work. Li Ang (; ; born 15 September 1993) is a Chinese footballer who currently plays for Shanghai Port in the Chinese Super League. Club career Li Ang started his football career with Jiangsu Suning in 2014 after playing for Jiangsu Youth during the 2011 season and the 2012 season. He made his debut for the club in a league game on 8 March 2014 in a 0-0 draw against Guizhou Renhe. He scored his first goal for the club in a league game on 11 May 2014 in a 1-0 win against Changchun Yatai. Throughout the season he would go on to establish himself as an integral member of the team and would play in the 2014 Chinese FA Cup, which the club lost 5-4 on aggregate to Shandong Luneng Taishan. Li Ang (murderer)
Amanda Zhao Wei () (28 February 1981 – 7 October 2002) was a Chinese student in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, who was murdered in October 2002. Zhao was studying English at Coquitlam College when she was reported missing on October 9, 2002, and her body was found inside a suitcase by hikers near Stave Lake on October 20, 2002, where an autopsy revealed that Zhao had been strangled to death. Zhao's boyfriend Li Ang (李昂) was the prime suspect. Li was arrested in China and charged by a Beijing court for Zhao's murder. Li was initially given a life sentence, but this was changed to a seven-year imprisonment. Amanda Zhao's murder and the subsequent investigation highlighted issues with the co-operation of Canada and China in matters of justice, and issues of jurisdiction within Canadian law enforcement.
