Leyenda De Plata (2006)
The ''Leyenda de Plata'' (2006) was professional wrestling tournament produced by the Mexican wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLLl; Spanish "World Wrestling Council") that ran from August 25, 2006 over the course of four of CMLL's Friday night shows in Arena México with the finals on September 15, 2006. The annual ''Leyenda de Plata'' tournament is held in honor of lucha libre legend El Santo and is one of CMLL's most important annual tournaments. The ''torneo cibernetico'' elimination match saw Black Warrior eliminate Rey Bucanero as the last man in a match that also included Heavy Metal, Metro, La Máscara, Último Guerrero, Mephisto and Misterioso Jr. With Black Warrior winning the first ''cibernetico'' it was not too surprising that Místico won the second ''cibernetico'' as the two had been involved with a long-running storyline feud throughout 2006. Místico
Luis Ignacio Urive Alvirde (born December 22, 1982), better known by his ring name Místico (Spanish for "Mystic"), is a Mexican ''luchador enmascarado'' (or masked professional wrestler), who currently works for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). Initially working as Místico, he later signed with WWE, where he was known under the name Sin Cara (Spanish for "Without Face" or "Faceless"). Upon his return to Mexico, he worked under the name Myzteziz in AAA, before settling on the ring name Carístico upon returning to CMLL in 2015. In 2021, he regained the Místico name, due to his successor and tag team partner Místico II leaving CMLL. From 2006 to 2011, Urive was the top técnico (those that portray the good guys) and was the biggest box office draw in Mexico for a number of years. Alex Koslov
Alex Sherman (born January 21, 1984) is a Moldovans, Moldovan-born retired Professional wrestling, professional wrestler and color commentator, currently working for New Japan Pro-Wrestling under the ring name Alex Koslov. Koslov has mainly worked in Mexico from 2005 until 2008 for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), but in October 2008 he made a surprise jump to rival Professional wrestling promotion, promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, AAA, where he worked until October 2010. Renato Ruíz Cortes (born May 9, 1977) is a Mexican professional wrestler better known by the ring name Averno (''Hell''). Ruíz initially worked for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) as Rencor Latino in 1995, but did not achieve any significant success until he adopted the ring name Averno in June 2001. Under his new ring name, Ruíz went on to become a one–time CMLL World Middleweight, CMLL World Trios Champion, NWA World Middleweight Champion and NWA World Historic Middleweight Champion and a three–time CMLL World Tag Team Champion. His ring name is most commonly translated as " Hell" in English. Ramón Ibarra Rivera (born January 26, 1981), better known by his ring name Volador Jr., is a Mexican ''luchador'' (or professional wrestler), who works for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). He portrays a '' técnico'' ("good guy") wrestling character and is considered one of the top level ''técnicos'' in the promotion. He is the son of Super Parka, and his ring name refers to his father's previous gimmick, Volador. Ibarra is the nephew of the original La Parka, the cousin of El Hijo de L.A. El Sagrado (born June 19, 1980) is a Mexican ''Luchador enmascarado'', or masked professional wrestler currently working for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). His ring name is Spanish for "The Sacred One". Working as "Sagrado" won the CMLL Arena Coliseo Tag Team Championship with Misterioso, Jr. as well as having formerly held the Mexican National Trios Championship twice, with different partners as well as the Occidente Light Heavyweight Championship on one occasion. José Casas Ruiz (born January 10, 1960) is a Mexican professional wrestler (called a ''Luchador'' in Spanish) and trainer working for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) under the ring name Negro Casas. He is the son of former wrestler turned referee Pepe Casas, and part of the large Casas wrestling family; brother of professional wrestlers El Felino and Heavy Metal and uncle of Puma, Tiger, Canelo Casas, Rocky Casas, Danny Casas and many more.
