Lex XI F.C.
Lex Glyndwr XI F.C. are a Welsh football team based in Wrexham, currently playing in the North East Wales Football League Premier Division. History They play in the Welsh National League Division One, which is in the Fourth level of the Welsh football league system. Lex XI 1st team are currently playing in Division 1,and the Lex XI reserves are currently playing in the Reserves & Colts Football League. Lex has hosted numerous great games at Stansty Park over the years and in the Summer of 2014 hosted a fundraising game between themselves and a Wrexham FC legends XI which include big names such as Karl Connolly, Dixie McNeil and Steve Watkin. Lex also hosted the 2013 North East Wales Football Association under 16's cup final, which saw Borras Park Albion YFC beat Shotton Steel YFC 4–3 on penalties in front of a 200 strong crowd. Summerhill, Wrexham
Summerhill ( cy, Brynhyfryd, ) is a semi-urban village in the suburbs of Wrexham, Wales and forms part of the community of Gwersyllt. Industry and History In the 19th and early 20th century, Summerhill was predominantly focused around local farming or coalmining industries, however there was also nearby Brymbo Steelworks and Bersham Ironworks for those who could travel. The nearest colliery was Westminster Colliery, located within the Moss Valley. Most of the area's coalmining industry was closed by the mid 20th century. Remnants of the area's former industrial history include disused features such as railway trackbeds, bridges and tunnels, particularly surrounding the Moss Valley areas. Borras Park Albion YFC
Borras ( cy, Borras / Bwras) is a hamlet in Wrexham County Borough, Wales to the north-east of the city of Wrexham. It is part of the community of Holt. The nearby residential area of Borras Park is named after Borras; and is colloquially shortened to just "Borras", but is part of the community of Acton, Wrexham, in the city of Wrexham. Early history Although no human occupation sites have been found, the area of Borras has revealed some of the earliest traces of habitation in the area. Cymru Alliance
The Cymru Alliance League (known for sponsorship reasons as Huws Gray Alliance) was a football league in north and central Wales which formed the second level of the Welsh football league system. From the 2019/20 season onwards, it was replaced by the Cymru North. If the team which finished top of the league held a Domestic Licence, it could apply for promotion to the Welsh Premier League and was replaced by one of the bottom two teams in the Welsh Premier League. If the league champions did not hold a Domestic Licence, then the team which finished second, if in possession of a Domestic Licence, could be promoted instead.
