Lewis Roberts (snooker Player)
Lewis Roberts (born 2 July 1985) is an English professional snooker player. He became a professional in 2008, however he did not retain his place on the tour at the end of the 2008–09 season. Career Born in 1985, Roberts played in the Pontin's International Open Series (known as PIOS) in the 2000s, hoping to earn a place on the professional main tour. He was able to do this in 2008, but his first season was without any success; he won only three matches – 4–3 over Barry Pinches in the Masters qualifying event, 5–2 over Vincent Muldoon in the China Open and 10–8 over Aditya Mehta in the World Championship. In his other nine matches, Roberts lost 1–5 to Wayne Cooper, Atthasit Mahitthi, Rod Lawler and Mark Joyce, 8–9 to Mahitthi in the 2008 UK Championship and 7–10 to Paul Davies in the World Championship, but never failed to win a frame in any tournament. Lewis Roberts (naturalist)
Lewis Roberts, OAM, (born 1950) is a distinguished naturalist and botanical illustrator. Lewis and his brother, Charlie Roberts, are probably the leading experts on the flora and fauna of south-eastern part Cape York Peninsula and the northern Wet Tropics area. For three generations his family has lived at Shipton's Flat, about 45 km south of Cooktown, where he and Charlie were home-schooled. His father, Jack Lewis, was a tin miner and self-taught naturalist. Background Since about 1960, most of the botanists and zoologists who have conducted research in their area have sought advice or field assistance from the Roberts brothers. Both are "Honoraries" to the Queensland Museum. Lewis Roberts has a particular interest in orchids, especially the species of Cape York Peninsula and the Wet Tropics. Koreless
Lewis Roberts, better known by the stage name Koreless, is a British electronic musician and recording artist. He released his debut album, ''Agor'', in 2021. History Roberts was born in Wales and spends the majority of his time in Glasgow. In 2011, Koreless released his debut EP, ''4D'', on Pictures Music as a limited edition 12-inch single. In July 2012, he released single "Lost In Tokyo" on Jacques Greene's record label, Vase Records. He was invited to participate in the 2012 Red Bull Music Academy Summit in New York City. Koreless worked with London-based producer and vocalist Sampha in 2012 to form collaborative works under the name of Short Stories. The pair premiered their track "Let It Go" in a short DJ set for Boiler Room (music project), Boiler Room TV in December of that year. Louis Melville Roberts (December 15, 1879 – February 11, 1958) was an American-Canadian politician from Alberta. Early life Louis Melville Roberts was born December 15, 1879 to Scottish parents in Cedar County, Iowa. He attended the University of Iowa completing a Bachelor of Laws. He married Helen Atkinson on July 12, 1906 and had two children together. Roberts constructed "Roberts Block", a three-storey brick warehouse on 11th Avenue in Calgary in 1909, which remains standing to this day.
