Lewa Wildlife Conservancy
The Lewa Wildlife Conservancy (also known as Lewa Downs) is located in northern Kenya. It was formed in and is a wildlife sanctuary incorporating the Ngare Ndare Forest covering over . The Conservancy is home to a wide variety of wildlife including the rare and endangered black rhinos, Grevy's zebras and sitatungas. It also includes the big five (lion, leopards, elephants, rhinos and Cape buffaloes). Lewa holds over 12% of Kenya's eastern black rhinoceros population and the largest single population of Grevy's zebras in the world (approximately 350 individuals). The Conservancy is also home to the Northern Rangelands Trust, an innovative partnership with a number of communities to the north who have given land for the preservation of wildlife. LeWa OS (Chinese: 乐蛙), also known as Music Frogs and жабка, was an operating system for smartphones, based on the Android mobile platform. Developed by Chinese company Lewa Technology, it was mainly intended for low-cost phones under 1000 yuan (around US$126). By the end of April 2013, there were more than 2 million users of the system, and by the end of July 2012, they were among the most popular third-party Android-based ROMs in China, together with MIUI and DianXin OS (also known as Tapas OS). Bionicle
Bionicle was a line of Lego construction toys, marketed primarily towards 8-to-16-year-olds. The line originally launched in 2001 as a subsidiary of Lego's Technic series. Over the following decade, it became one of Lego's biggest-selling properties, turning into a franchise and playing a part in saving the company from its financial crisis of the late 1990s. Despite a planned twenty-year tenure, the theme was discontinued in 2010, but was rebooted in 2015 for a further two years. Unlike previous Lego themes, Bionicle was accompanied by an original story told across a multimedia spectrum.
