Leven Cooper Allen
Major General Leven Cooper Allen (March 29, 1894 – September 27, 1979) was an officer in the United States Army during World War II. Early life Leven Cooper Allen was born on March 29, 1894, in Fort Douglas, Utah. Before his military service, he attended the University of San Francisco from 1912 to 1916. Military career Allen was commissioned in 1916 and was stationed in France. He graduated from the Command and General Staff School in 1931 and the Army War College in 1935. Allen served in the General Staff of the War Department from May, 1941 to February, 1942. Following serving in the General Staff, he held the position of commandant at the Infantry School until October, 1943. During 1942, Allen served as brigadier general and major general. From 1943 to 1945, he served as chief of staff of the 12th Army Group (formerly the First Army Group). For his actions during World War II, Allen was given two Army Distinguished Service Medals. Mats Levén
Mats Leven is a Swedish singer. Some of his most notable collaborations have been with guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen, symphonic metallers Therion and doom metallers Candlemass. In 2011, due to family issues on the part of Firewind's lead singer Apollo, Levén was called in to substitute for the rest of their European tour. He also started touring with Trans-Siberian Orchestra in 2016. In 2019, he released his first solo album under the name ''Skyblood''. Youth Born in Pittsburgh, Leven grew up in Hampton, Pennsylvania. During this time he played for the Pittsburgh Strikers and Beadling SC club teams, while also playing for Western Pennsylvania ODP. He graduated from Hampton High School. He attended the Ohio State University, playing on the men's soccer team from 1996 to 2000. Peter McDonald Leven (born 27 September 1983) is a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. A former Scotland international at U21 level, Leven made over 300 career appearances for clubs including Milton Keynes Dons, Kilmarnock, Oxford United and Chesterfield. Leven (11 November, 1914–17 December, 2007) was an American composer and lyricist who had a long association with the Walt Disney Company, although he also wrote songs for Peggy Lee ("Every Time"), The Andrews Sisters ("Commoners Boogy"), Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, and Les Brown, among others. Marian Leven RSA (born 1944) is a Scottish artist known for her sculptures, land art and collage work and for painting in oils, acrylics, and watercolour. Biography Leven was born in 1944 and is originally from Auchtermuchty in Fife, Scotland. She studied Textile arts at Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen, from 1962 to 1966 and now works in various art media including painting in watercolour, oils and acrylic, printmaking, sculpture, land art and collage.
