''Levels'' (sometimes stylized as ''LEVELS'' or ''LVLS'') is the second studio album by South African rapper AKA, released by Vth Season. It is the follow-up to his debut release, ''Altar Ego''. The album was made available a week before its originally announced 8 July release date on 30 June 2014. The album was certified gold on 17 June 2015, selling over 20 000 copies almost 11 months after its release. The album's release was preceded by the singles "Jealousy", "Kontrol", " Congratulate" and "Run Jozi (Godly)" which features K.O of Teargas. Originally slated for physical release on 8 July 2014, the hard copies of the album were later released on 28 July 2014 due to manufacturing issues. Production was handled by AKA, Ameen, Tazzy from the funk band Muzart, Steve "Sticky" Raphadu, Master A Flat who was also the album's musical director and Vth Season's in-house producer, Tweezy. AKA (rapper)
Kiernan Jarryd Forbes (born 28 January 1988), known professionally as AKA, is a South African rapper. Born and raised in Cape Town, Forbes gained significance after releasing his single "Victory Lap" which was released from his debut studio album, ''Altar Ego'' (2011). Forbes continued his success by releasing studio albums which include '' Levels'' (2014), ''Touch My Blood'' (2018), Bhovamania (2020) and the collaborative album, '' Be Careful What You Wish For'' alongside Anatii (2017). In April 2020 Forbes alongside vodka brand ''Cruz'' launched the watermelon-flavoured drink with his initial on the bottles. Tumi Molekane
Tumi Molekane (born 16 August 1981) is a Tanzanian-born South African rapper and poet. He was the lead vocalist of Tumi and the Volume, that was officially disbanded in 2012. In 2016 Tumi relaunched himself as Stogie T and released an eponymous album titled '' 'Stogie T' '' which featured Da L.E.S, Lastee, Emtee, Nasty C, Nadia Nakai & Yanga. He has 2 singles from the album. The first single "Diamond Walk" features rapper Nadia Nakai in the video.
