Alex Trochut (born 1981) is a Spanish artist, graphic designer, illustrator, and typographer. Born in Barcelona and currently based in Brooklyn, NY. Alan Peckolick
Alan Jay Peckolick (October 3, 1940 – August 3, 2017) was an American graphic designer, painter, and photographer. Peckolick was known for the typographic forms he created. His fascination for the graphic letter form underpinned much of his work as he drew much of his inspiration from historic signage and lettering. His projects included logo design and corporate identity for Revlon and New York University (typographic logo). He designed annual reports for AT&T, General Motors, Bell South and Pfizer. Pablo Ferro (January 15, 1935 – November 16, 2018) was a Cuban-American graphic designer, film titles designer, and founder of Pablo Ferro Films. Childhood Born in Antilla, Oriente Province, Cuba, he was raised on a remote farm before emigrating to New York with his family as a teenager. When still living in Cuba, he was very close with his grandfather during his youth and took a lot of advice from him that shaped his future. Phill Grimshaw (1 February 1950 – 27 July 1998) was an English typeface designer and calligrapher who designed dozens of fonts for Letraset and the International Typeface Corporation (ITC) in the 1980s and 1990s. Biography Grimshaw was born on 1 February 1950 in Bolton. He studied art at Bolton College, where he was taught by the typographer Tony Forster, with whom he would later become close friends.
