Let It Shine (Simplified Chinese: 萤火虫的梦) is a Singaporean Chinese drama which was telecast on Singapore's free-to-air channel, MediaCorp TV Channel 8 Channel 8 ( zh, 8頻道) is a Singaporean free-to-air television channel, airing in Mandarin Chinese. It was created by Television Singapura on 31 August 1963 with experimental broadcasts, before going official on 23 November that year. The ch .... It made its debut on 16 January 2007 and ended its 20-episode run on 12 February 2007. The show achieved pretty low viewership rates for a local drama serial in Singapore. Less than 250,000 viewers tuned into the premiere episode, making it one of the more least-watched Singaporean television dramas. In fact, the figures was the lowest for all Singapore Chinese Dramas in the year of 2007. Felicia Chin
Felicia Chin Foong Ling (; born 24 October 1984), who was also once known by her Chinese stage name Chen Jing Xuan () from 2008 to 2013 is a Singaporean actress was named as one of the Seven Princesses of Mediacorp in 2006. Ng Hui (, born 22 July 1979) is a Singaporean former actress and television host. She was prominently a full-time Mediacorp artiste from 2000 to 2012. Channel 8 ( zh, 8頻道) is a Singaporean free-to-air television channel, airing in Mandarin Chinese. It was created by Television Singapura on 31 August 1963 with experimental broadcasts, before going official on 23 November that year. The channel's logo is a yellow number 8 on top of a red disc. History Channel 8 began its test transmissions on Saturday, 31 August 1963, Malaysia's national day. Its first day consisted of a Hokkien film, repeats of India's participation in the South East Asian Cultural Festival and Singapore Celebrates. A second test transmission took place between 16 and 20 September of that year and devoted much of its time to the week-long celebrations, to coincide with the historic Proclamation of Malaysia, and the political campaigns leading up to the 1963 General Election.
