"Let It Rain" is the debut single of Canadian pop- rock singer Amanda Marshall from her eponymous debut album (1995). The song was written by American folk rock singer-songwriter Kristen Hall, one of the founding members of Sugarland, and produced by David Tyson. Hall originally recorded the song for her 1994 album, ''Be Careful What You Wish For''. Marshall's version of "Let It Rain" was first released in 1995 in Canada through Columbia Records, where it became a top-10 hit in the latter half of the year. It was then released worldwide through Epic Records in 1996, becoming a number-three hit in Norway and reaching the top 30 in Australia and New Zealand. Amanda Meta Marshall (born August 29, 1972) is a Canadian pop-rock singer. She has released three studio albums; the first was certified Diamond in Canada, with the latter two certified 3× Platinum and Platinum respectively. She is best known for her 1996 single, "Birmingham", which reached number 3 in Canada and was her only song to reach the US charts. Early life Marshall was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She grew up an only child, in her own words, "the product of an interracial marriage": her mother is from Trinidad, her father is Canadian. The publication was founded by Walt Grealis in February 1964, supported through its existence by record label owner Stan Klees. ''RPM'' ceased publication in November 2000. Chorus Effect
Chorus (or chorusing, choruser or chorused effect) is an audio effect that occurs when individual sounds with approximately the same time, and very similar pitches, converge. While similar sounds coming from multiple sources can occur naturally, as in the case of a choir or string orchestra, it can also be simulated using an electronic effects unit or signal processing device. When the effect is produced successfully, none of the constituent sounds are perceived as being out of tune. It is characteristic of sounds with a rich, shimmering quality that would be absent if the sound came from a single source. The shimmer occurs because of beating.
