"Let's Go" is a song written by Peitor Angell and sung by freestyle singer Nocera, who co-produced the song with Floyd Fisher and Peitor Angell and remixed by Little Louie Vega. It was released in 1987 as the second single (after 1986's " Summertime Summertime") from her debut album '' Over the Rainbow''. Nocera (born 1967), also known as Lulu Nocera,http://lulunocera.com/ is a Sicilian-American club DJ and a trip hop, pop and freestyle singer. She is probably best known for her 1986 freestyle hits " Summertime Summertime" and " Let's Go". Early years Born in Sicily, Nocera was raised in Parma, Emilia-Romagna (in northern Italy), before emigrating to the United States when she was 18 years old. Nocera signed with independent label Sleeping Bag Records in 1986, and released the single " Summertime Summertime" that same year. Freestyle music, also called Latin freestyle or Latin hip-hop ''(sic)'' is a form of electronic dance music that emerged in the New York metropolitan area and Philadelphia, primarily among Hispanic Americans and Italian Americans in the 1980s. It was active between 1981 and 1992, and specialized in dance music and hip hop. Peitor Angell is an American/Canadian Film composer, Songwriter, record producer, arranger and conductor. His credits include production, arrangement, and songwriting work with new artists as well as established Grammy Award winning artists, including Charo, Cissy Houston, Barbra Streisand and Thelma Houston. As an artist working in collaboration with many guests artists, Angell releases his music via the Buon-Art World record label. His style of composition is often a blend of British Invasion, 60s Pacific Coast Jazz, Alternative Pop and New Age Minimalism Chill Out. Luis Ferdinand Vega Jr. (born June 12, 1965), as known as "Little Louie" Vega, is an American DJ, record producer and Grammy Award winner remixer of Puerto Ricans in the United States, Puerto Rican ancestry.
